Tried to use them. Kept being told my case is "urgent" but the phone operators knew nothing about actual time estimates and literally have nothing of value to add. Don't waste your time with them- apparently they're short staffed and only respond when escalated on. And by respond I mean they call and make excuses of why they weren't responsive and can't help.

Absolutely love 7-Star. Our AC was horrible and they were always there when we needed them. We finally decided to replace it and they were quick to get a new unit in our house at an affordable price. Saw a post from a local Ohio facebook page for whole house duct cleaning services. I inquired and got a fair price. asked where they are located and the name of their company. they said they are local "toledo ohio" company. and used the name "panda ducts solutions" i set up an appointment for 10/16 at 11:00. a few days later I got a text from someone saying they have 3 houses near me on 10/15 and asked if I could have my service then.
I agreed, but stated I had a prior obligation at 2:30 so they must be finished and gone by 2:30. the man agreed and said he would make it at 1:00. at 2:00 on 10/15 with no show I texted both contacts that i talked to to set up the appointment asking where my cleaners were. NO reply. 3:15 a white un-marked van pulls up to my house and 2 young men got out and came to me, and said they are here to clean my ducts. in broken english. i explained that they are too late i must go. but i was able to rearrange my plans and went ahead to have them service the ducts.
I have never had it done before so I have no opinion if they did that correctly or not. but they were supposed to do the dryer vent and check my furnance as well. and they said not included. until I showed them the Text from "hector" stating that was included in the price. so they did blow air in the dryer vent hose and said my furance is dusty. clearly they had no clue what they were looking at in my furance. any question I asked them if they answered was "yes" clearly english was a 2nd or 3rd language to them. and when they gave the invoice the company was seven star HVAC out of illinois (2 whole states away from ohio) something gave me a bad vibe that something just isn't right with this company. so do your research before saving a few dollars.

Outside unit needed emergency maintenance on a 102 degree day in Pflugerville. I called at 4:30p, as inside my temperature had risen to about 87. By 7p, my A/C was blowing cool air again and I was thanking Lawrence for saving us. He gave us advice on how to avoid problems moving forward, as well as what we could expect from our unit. He was professional, prompt, and reasonably priced considering the circumstances. I cannot recommend him enough. If you're where I was, don't wait - call him.

Called Lawrence right after the crazy winter storm was over. My heating stopped working. He called me right back and was able to get to me the same day. He discovered a loose wire and had my heat back on so fast I couldn't believe it. How refreshing that we still have service people like Lawrence. Can't say enough good things about my experience and I highly recommend this company. He was a pleasure to meet!

Lawrence and 7-Star Service are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and friendly. Called this afternoon because my AC wasn't working and they said the earliest someone could come out was tomorrow. Received a call from Lawrence 10 minutes later saying he'd be able to stop by today. He showed up and he diagnosed/fixed the problem within minutes. It was 85 degrees in my house yesterday and today and now we finally have cool air again. The only folks I want working on my HVAC. A+ service and super friendly folks.

Nothing but good things to say about this service. Great prompt service. Lawrence Celedone and his crew came in and finished the full a/c unit replacement in three and a half hours. They placed carpet and floor protectors. Lawrence went the extra mile and leveled my outside unit with concrete blocks, this allows the unit to have a longer life. I would rate it 7 stars if I could. Thanks for a job well done.

Based on the reckles driving, I shall never use their services. While driving on 620, 05/23/2018, vehicle license plate FMX-1584, was spending and swerving in-out traffic, almost causing my wife to collide with another vehicle. Tailing very closely. 7 - Star was great! 3 min after talking with the call center the Tech Lawrence called back. Said he would be here in an 1hr. Arrived as said. Found the problem quickly and fixed it even faster. Rates were appropriate and even saved some money with a coupon listed on their website. Solid service! Lawrence was great!

I've worked with Lawrence 2 times now. Every time I've had a positive experience. The first time he arrived on a Sunday, my AC unit had backed up and left a significant amount of water behind. He fixed the issue. The second time he replaced the coil that was going bad in my unit. He again arrived on a Sunday to top off the unit until he could come out to replace the coil later in the week. Nice guy, always on time (or early!) and charges you what he says it'll be.

The good: Lawrence went to one of my rent houses that needed an AC repair, on a Sunday. He did the repair quickly, and got the house cooled down, in no time. He then came to my house, to get paid. The bad: Lawrence told me the job would be $230, max, if the AC needed a charge. I never heard from him, again, until AFTER he had done the work. Then, I was told it would be $418!
He told me he replaced a dual capacitor and hosed off the condenser housing. When he came to my house, he got very testy when I asked for a receipt before I paid him: "I could have told you I was too busy to do your job!" The very bad: I was charged $289 to replac $32 dual capacitor! The actual replacement takes about ten minutes, from what I've read, online.
Final analysis: I got kind of burned, but my tenants got cooled down, quickly, on a Sunday. Would I use this company again? Only if there was an agreement made that I would be notified how much the needed work was going to be BEFORE it was done. Note: I recently had another central ac unit go bad at another property. I traced the problem to a bad capacitor, the same problem as above. I paid $27 for the cap at a supply shop, and replaced it, myself. Yeah, I was burned, as in badly ripped off, by Lawrence. Never again!

You can stop looking! Call Lawrence. My AC went out on Friday night. The company my builder listed that I should call, had a machine and responded by Monday. A company that was recommended at my child's gymnastics wanted me to wait till Monday to start figuring out what was wrong. Lawrence came out promptly the next morning, diagnosed the problem, quoted a price, and took care of the warranty hassle and viola!
I only had to take off a few hours Monday morning, since he came in with 2 extra guys, and knocked it out before lunch. What he does not know is that the company my builder recommended called me back, and quoted me a price that was higher than his and they wouldn't be done till Tuesday. No thanks. Lawrence is friendly, polite and explains what is going on with your system. He is not pushy and he gets the work done quickly. There is no need to call anyone else. Just call (512) 252-4700. He'll answer!

Why do we hate A/C repairs? We generally have to spend a huge wad of cash on something other than a tangibly cool new entertainment system or a vacation. Lawrence was timely, reasonable, and personable. He did not give me a window of time to be at home. He gave me a specific time and he was ON TIME a little early actually. He diagnosed my problem (it was a big one - raccoon in the crawl space shredded some duct work) and he gave me options.
He came back at the agreed time (on time) and did the repairs. His team did the work, cleaned up, verified that everything was in working order, and charged me the reasonable rate he quoted initially. I will definitely recommend him to friends and should I (knock on wood) ever need repairs again (crafty raccoons), I will definitely call 7 Star.
