I agree 100% with the previous poster. This place is a complete rip-off. First I am 100% sure the lady told me $25 over the phone, not $45 for the service fee My AC unit was leaking, it was determined that the coil had to be cleaned. (It was an A coil so it had to be removed) The guy comes back with a quote for $415, I told him that was outrageous.
I told him to give me a couple of minutes and I called a couple of other companies real quick. All of which gave me a quote between $200 and $300. I told the guy I had decided to go with another company and he is like "OK well now I can do it for $385 if you want". I decided to pay the $45 and had a guy come the next day and do a full service and cleaning of the unit for $250.00

BEWARE! BEWARE! I called based on their ad for a $45 service call, which would be deducted off the cost of any service. Here is the story: My large 5 ton Air Handler in the Garage has been leaking about 4-5 gallons of water a day, which is normal only that the water is not draining off through the drain line. When the arrived they completed a diagnostic ($45) and determined that my unit was 7lbs. low of R22 Freon and my Shradder valve needed replacing in that it was leaking there.
I was also told I had a cracked drain pan. But they offered to epoxy that for free (I'm thinking, "How nice"). They quoted me $79.99 per lb. for Freon (R22) and $159.99 to replace the Shradder Valve. The total was around $600+ because they decide to throw in 1 lb. for free. This was very high so I decided to get a second opinion. When I did this they offered to present a special price of $300 for all the work. Wow, more than $300 off but I had already called in for the second opinion so I was waiting.
When the second repairman arrived he too did a diagnostic and said my Freon levels are fine, I have no leak and the pan they fixed for free was nothing. All they did was spray a sealant on the pan that had NO CRACk to begin with. So they gave me the perception of doing me a favor that did not exist. Second, there is nothing wrong with my system except that the Drip Pan in the Air Handler Unit was off center.
That is to say to merely needed adjusting to send the drip to the drain rather then the far corner, which is where it was tilting. So I paid the second man a service call to simply adjust the pan to send the water to the drain rather than away from it. Done, fixed! I should only have had to pay Air Quality and AC the cost of the service visit $45.00 to repair this, bit instead I had to call a second and pay twice. Bigger yet is that that fraudulently tried to tell me I needed more than $600 to charge a system that did not need charging. Also, the second repairman was only going to charge me $30 per lb. for R22 Freon.
This place is an incredible RIP-OFF and you really need to be ware of their games. To think had I paid them the $600 to charge (fix) my system it would still be leaking to day. Oh, I guess that would be another service call. Just unbelievable! BEWARE and get send opinions.

Air Quality & A/C (Davie)came to my house on 1/2/2012 when my air wasnt coming out of vents. THe guy sold me 2 parts, a contactor and a capacitor, that i later looked up(less than $20 for both), and 2.5 lbs. of freon for 375.00 It started and he left after I paid him. We had a Coldfront since the 2nd so we didnt need to run a/c. Turned on tonight (7 days later)and guess, yep.didnt blow through vent.
Now they tell me they will not cover it and I need a motor. The same motor the guy pushed to start and said it was fine. Company said well it worked when we left, I said, well it is doing the same thing it did the day you came to fix it, only difference is they have my 375.00 and I still have no A/C. The "customer service/dispatcher/co owner "Eli" yelled at me when I first called saying they wont cover what they did and then offered to do me a favor and fix the motor and the "favor" was to charge me another $350 and job would take 2 hours.
My husband called him and got no better results. I cut my loss and Called my old faithful company (closed on 1/2/12) Munson's A/C and he came out and in less than 20 minutes he put in the motor, changed a capacitor. All for $325, and no "favor", just good honest work. I will be reporting this to the BBB and the State. BTW, I found this company on Craigslist. Consumer affairs said they were not licensed in this area and were under another name in Orlando, so beware!
