The website says emergency services. Had a problem Sunday evening. I do the online chat ask if they have some one that could come out on a Sunday evening. Online chat ask me name, address, number, email and tells me some one will call me. Lady calls, I first ask "do y'all have people to come out in a Sunday evening" She states she needs all my info, all the same info I just gave the online chat that had this person call me.
At the same time my phone is tell me I have a call coming in from ARS. Really, I don't need 2 of y'all calling. The lady tells me they can have someone out on July 13th, that is 17 days out. I tell her never mind delete all my info. I called the other ARS number that was calling me to see if I could get better service. I ask this second lady if someone would be able to come out tonight. She tells me they no longer do after hours service calls. Not sure why they have emergency service on their website.

We bought 2 new A/C units from ARS, through Home Depot and everything turned out great. We saved on our energy bills and the systems were very efficient. There was a small issue with the drain lines but they were able to get those fixed and everything since has been running perfectly. The installation was very professional and the customer support was great. They are very fast to respond to the service calls. Overall I am very happy with everything. Renee in customer support is great!

Run, do not, I mean DO NOT use ARS. We have been using ARS since we moved to Austin over 20 years ago, we had purchased HVAC, furnace, plumbing services from them and the service has gone from great (22 years ago) to absolutely horrible. We purchased our HVAC from ARS 11 years ago. At that time, they sold us a unit with lifetime limited warranty at an additional cost of $3,000 extra, which stated that as long as we own the unit and stay in the same house and any replacement parts are under warranted for the owner's lifetime, and we pay only the labor cost.
The last couple days, our air conditioner has been running non-stop, so we called ARS to come out and take a look. The service person said it was the recuperative coil and there is a chance it is leaking fluid. His suggestion was to add more fluids, at a quote of $600-$2,000 (because he doesn't know how much it needs), but if there is a leak, we will need to replace the unit.
We mentioned the warranty and he said he had never heard of it nor do the office staff have any information. So we showed them the warranty paperwork and they are refusing to honor it. Had we known that they are not good with what they sold, we would not have paid the extra! We had then called multiple HVAC companies and were told the installation was poorly done and that the unit they sold us were subpar. So much for being a loyal customer for so many years, the company has gone completely downhill.

I only worked with ARS because of home depot purchase of central AC unit. Today I called because I smelled wire burning from the attic area. My husband went to the attic, hear sparks and could see a visible burn mark on the box. The scheduler was rude almost from the beginning of the conversation. The scheduler yelled at me repeatedly stating they can come out July 6 or not at ALL.
Now I'm trying to explain to her that I'm afraid of my house burning down because an installer error but she stated to me you don't want me to tell you what you can do. Now in order to be seen as a priority customer I need to pay for this $10 a month plan or $180 plan. And because of the extreme heat and their business schedule (which I understand) I may be seen next day after speaking with the third scheduler.
I asked if I had another company come out will I be reimbursed and the answer to that is I'm just the scheduler. I spoke with three different schedule just to get a little help. And I asked for a supervisor and even asked for Rene from Quality to be emailed to contact me. I was told very rudely she will not contact until 3-5 business days. I ask for a manager or supervisor.
I was told there is no one for me to speak too. Ok, the Technician Ricky Rodriguez came over to fix the problem same day after paying the $180 bucks and he is just as rude as the scheduler. My husband was asked Ricky why did we experience the burn out of this item and he looked at my husband then stated I'm not here to argue with you. And I'm not Houdini.
I can not answer that for you. These things just happened. Man what a experience I tell from start to finish terrible. I guess asking questions offended him. This has been the most rude and unprofessional experience ever. They charge the $180 twice. I can't believe this. Will this nightmare end? That's $360 for the one year plan that I was told was $180 and of course no one is answering the phone.

I had a A/C unit installed completely new (both ground and attic unit) in 2019 by ARS/Rescue. It did not work in 2020. An ARS tech came to inspect, advising that the whole attic unit was covered by ice, caused by some wire connection not properly, and he corrected it. It could not cool down in 2021 and I did not remember what happened. Then it could not cool down again in May 2022.
A tech inspected, saying the attic unit's wire was leaking, needing to be replaced. Also there was water leaking from the ceiling. I saw water dipping from the attic unit. The tech told me he sent the order for coil to the office. I called the office many times, trying to find when the coil could arrive. As of today, June 9, no one from ARS/Resure gives me an answer or response.

Definitely recommend this company, on point with explaining in detail, professional and most of all well worth the money spent, and reasonable at that, compared to many plumbing company's that feel they are the only ones out there and charge you an arm and a leg. 100% A-1 experience, again thank you.

Service was great, But the cost was $678.00 which included tax. Granted this was a call for A/C repair on Memorial Day. I did expect to pay extra for the service call. But after I looked up the part that was replaced roughly $41.00 from a Lennox dealer I felt that I was taken advantage of. I think that a part mark up of roughly 15 times the cost is outrageous and will never use ARS again.

My disabled dad called to make an appointment because our sink was clogged up. Because we already use another service, I called back to cancel it. Come the next morning, ARS showed up anyway. Because it was a holiday, there was going to be an extra fee. This is also why I wanted to cancel the appointment. I called ARS to let them know about the situation.
We settled on letting them look at our sink since they were already there plus they agreed to waive the holiday fee of $89. Because of my dads disability he isn't able to make decisions about these things. I had prior commitments so I had to leave my dad to deal with ARS. When I came back another ARS technician had arrived to assist. Apparently the initial tech needed different equipment.
I was informed that they had already obtained the "signature" from my disabled dad for the go ahead on that. The second tech that arrived basically took over the appointment and purposely took advantage of my disabled dad. We didn't even get an itemized receipt so we don't know what we paid for. In the end, they said we needed a specialist because the initial 2 techs couldn't figure it out.
I decided to cancel the whole thing because we needed to check with the service that we already use. But it's disgusting that ARS took advantage of a disabled person like they did. I will not be doing business with them again.

We purchased a brand new AC system from ARS through Home Depot. The system was supposed to come with Radiant Barrier instead some installers came out and we're to lazy to get in my attic to do the job so they blew in installation. Well this is what happens every week through my vents. Then my AC bill is still high with me constantly having to call ARS which is very disappointing. I wish I didn't use them and now am taking this to Home Depot since they were the chosen vendor. HELP this should not be what we deal with as customers

David was very informative and patient while answering our questions and walking us thru what was needed and being done to correct the problem. David was Gary polite and displayed great people skills. He wore a mask and shoe coverings without being asked which is a big plus. The price was fair and service was speedy and well done. This review is not about the quality of workmanship I experienced. Rather it is in reference to shameless and egregious price-gouging. In short, I had to have a job completed on a Sunday. It did involve a small hole to be cut into the wall to replace a shower valve. The tech who performed the work was personable and did a great job. I had previously received a pretty high quote from another well-known company. But, they could not get out for a couple of days.
As I stated, this needed to be done fairly quickly. The only company that could perform the work in the time frame I needed was ARS. Their quote was almost DOUBLE the previous quote I had received from the other company. It was around $800. They seriously charged over $1,500. Wow! As if I couldn't determine what the parts costs and what a reasonable labor rate should be. THEY WERE WAY OVERPRICED! But, I was in desperate need and they knew it.
I began to read reviews after my work was completed. Just as I suspected, low ratings and mostly because of their pricing. I've seen their responses about the prices being market-driven, etc. It's all a lie. It's nothing more than a canned response. In reality, they must find a price point based upon what others charge and then double it.
I tried to call the number for quality control that is listed in the responses. I wanted to speak to someone before posting. It just rings with no answer. Please do yourself and your wallet a favor and avoid doing business with this company - especially if you are in a position to be able to wait a couple of days. There are plenty of others, some local, who are willing to perform the same work for a fair and honest price. RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. I cannot see how they can sleep at night.

Matt and Carlos arrived promptly and did a professional installation of a new Tankless Water Heater System. This is a sophisticated type of instant heating system which requires a high level of expertise. Matt and Carlos performed the installation flawlessly, using their knowhow and craftsmanship down to the finest details. Our new system works perfectly and is so much better than the two 40 gallon tanks we replaced.
Our water heats up faster and more evenly than ever before. The system takes up a fraction of the space in our attic, and is much safer since we no longer have 80 gallons of water hanging above our home, because the new system retains only one gallon at a time, yet the fast flow rate delivers 5 gallons of hot water per minute, enough to run three showers all at the same time. Matt and Carlos were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, skillful, and got the job done right. Highly recommend them.

So my father's water heater went out 04/13. These ppl told him they would come out and change it the next day, after charging him $2,200!. Needless to say on 04/14 they called my father and told him that it would have to wait until the 18th! My father had to go the whole weekend without hott water! & now it's Monday the day they said they'd get it done, guess what?! Now they're trying to reschedule AGAIN! This company is terrible! DO MOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE @%#HOLES!

I am sitting here waiting for my AC maintenance guy to show up as I had my appointment scheduled for today the hours of 10 am- 2pm. I phoned ARS to make sure I did have an appointment to which CSR responded that they were running behind. I reminded her that when I made the appointment that I requested morning to which her response was " ever body requests mornings " I asked why I hadn't received some sort of call to let me know they were running behind to which she explained that the person that makes those calls were " running behind" CSR asked if I wanted to reschedule or just wait it out for them this evening. I really had a feeling of " of take it or leave it " attitude. I'm still waiting over 3 hours from when the original appointment. I know, you want me to call Renae

Frank Sereno came out to work on our ac a few weeks back and it was such a pleasant experience from start to finish. He got here right away and was ready to get started. He walked my husband and I through the whole process of the job. He was very informative of what was needing to be fixed and laid it out for us to see with all the numbers. He finished with the job fairly quickly which I liked. It was a smooth and easy process. Frank was very professional and very polite. Definitely would recommend my family and friends to use them in the future.

Save your money! Call someone else! Do not contact this company. They are a scam! The gentleman who came and helped us. Didn't really know much. He kept talking to my husband and I as if we were dumb. Blamed physics for our plumbing issues. ARS has serviced our home in the past, therefore we had "warranty" the gentleman had explained to us he would have to pull off the toilet and it was covered under warranty.
After finding a broken pipe he then proceeds to tell us that will be an additional $600+ added to our bill for having to remove the toilet. we had already agreed to pay $600+ for a hydro jet treatment and the $70 service fee. Keep in mind, the hydro jet cleaning did nothing for us, it didn't solve the issue we were having. We then questioned him since he had already told us it was under warranty.
His response "warranty only covers less than 5 ft" ummm ok why did he not tell us this BEFORE removing the toilet, instead all he told us was not to worry that it was under warranty. Because we questioned the fee, he responded to us saying we were probably "broke" and clearly didn't want to pay. That comment was very unprofessional. It is not about the cost, it's the principal.
Don't say something is under warranty and then proceed to charge us. Needless to say, he left after 5 hours, our issues still not resolved, and with a high plumbing bill for nothing basically. This business is a scam. I do not recommend.

I had a backed-up main sewer line that needed to be repaired, along with some foundation issues that likely caused it, come to find out later. I contacted ARS to clear the line, scope it and see what needed to be done. I also had the foundation repaired. They cleared the line and upon visual inspection with their camera, they said there was a crack about 4 ft underneath the foundation.
I contacted my homeowner's insurance company since this would be covered. Insurance company said yes and to contact them once the crack was found so they could verify it was underneath the house. I told ARS to go ahead since insurance would cover most of it. They came out and started digging. They did find a crack, 18 inches outside the foundation but continued to tunnel 4ft under the house where the technician said the crack was.
Guess what? There was no crack there, it was the one outside the foundation. Not only were they wrong, but they were also off by 6 feet on their estimation. How do you use a camera and miss by that much? Now the repair is outside the foundation insurance would not cover it. It had to be done and I had ARS move fwd with the repair. I gave them my CC# and signed for them to move forward.
They did not charge my card at the time for some reason. I received a call months later that I had not paid and needed to settle up. They wanted to charge me for the unnecessary tunneling under the house based on their error. I told them they should have charged me when the work was done but since they didn't, I was not going to pay for their error.
We did agree on a reduced price but still more than it should have been. They gave me a 10-year written warranty which I have a copy of. Fast fwd several years later (still within the 10) and I have blockage again. I contacted them for warranty work and was told someone would call me back. No one did. I called another company to snake the drain. I called ARS again, I was told someone would call me back and yet again, no one called me back.
I tried one more time, same result. Over a month of trying to get someone to discuss the warranty repairs and no contact from them. Since I was getting no response I called another plumbing company, they came out, identified the issue, said it was a faulty design and repair by ARS as their joint failed, not a cracked pipe. It has been repaired again and I feel better about it this time.
I would recommend using your brothers' kids for plumbing repair vs ARS. (actually, get a good plumbing company unless your brother's kid is an actual plumber) ARS did not do quality work and did not stand behind their warranty.

Went to Home Depot, they set up ARS. I called and scheduled a same day appointment. Guy came out, we wanted it same day. But since it had been 22 years since our last water heater, we had a lot of code requirements that needed to be done. Our pressure was high, so we had to have PRV installed at the street and an expansion tank, a drain line and vents in water heater closet.
We were happy with the service we received and the installation was great. They actually came an hour early. The installation was neat, organized, clean, and thorough. They explained everything to us, like what to expect with all the updated code requirements and a new water heater. Plus we have a Home Depot warranty on top of the Rheem warranty. We are satisfied with what we paid.we paid for their experience and piece of mind.
If a gas water heater is installed incorrectly, it can be deadly. We would recommend them and Home Depot. Totally process was 2 days. They took care of permit and inspection request with the city.

Called for an emergency plumbing situation and they responded immediately and were able to show up within an hour of me calling. I was worried about prices because of some other reviews, but the initial diagnosis was free. Jose and Voltan were very nice and professional. Left me with a free estimate to fully fix the problem so I can shop around, but stated if I wanted them to, then they could get started on the fix the next morning if I wanted. Highly recommend. Very professional and nice and were upfront about pricing.

They came out to do an inspection and service on my ac. The tech told me I was two pounds low on Freon and he could add for 300$ per pound. Or I could install an entirely new system for thousands of dollars to save money on Freon! I said no thank you and tech was a bit pushy with his sales pitch and tried to tell me how much extra money I was having to spend on electricity.
So I asked him to leave. A few weeks later the system quit. I called a local company Expo they came out and found a power wire mysteriously loose and reconnected it. They also checked Freon and it was fully charged not low. They charged me 49$ for a service call. AC working great electric bills normal. ARS was really trying to rip me off! Beware!

STAY AWAY FROM ARS! $2800 to install a $500 water heater? I even took the old one out previously. So I bought the water heater booster you said is usually $1,000, but you can give to me for $500. I looked it up, and it's no more than $299. So you're still charging $2,000 for labor? That's insane! You lied straight to my face. You robbed me. Here's why you robbed me.
First off you charged my new Lowe's card for work that wasn't even done yet. I don't like that. Now I'm trying to get home warranty to pay a portion but you charged me too early, and I'm going to need a refunded amount. Your guy didn't show up, call or text the day he was supposed to come out. Then he came the next day, the morning of Thanksgiving.
He installed the water heater, then wanted me to sign something to acknowledge the work was done. But the work wasn't done. I wanted a shut-off valve installed on the hot side, but he didn't do that. The booster wasn't there. He said it wasn't on the work order. He had to get someone to bring him a booster. So now, he had to fix these mistakes which took another hour and made us late going to a thanksgiving party. It's just one thing after another.
Now the hot pipe from the wall is leaking because your professional installer didn't clean the old paint off the copper pipe before adding a union going into the booster. It's dripping slowly. I'm so angry that I don't want you to come fix it because you'll only make things worse! I don't want to deal with you people ever again! You did everything wrong! Horrible company, horrible service. STAY AWAY FROM ARS!
First off you charged my new Lowe's card for work that wasn't even done yet. I don't like that. ARS sent Stephen to repair a broken toilet. It was better to replace the whole thing than just the cracked tank. He got a new toilet, repaired the broken cut-off to it and replaced so that it works perfectly. He know just what he was doing, told me exactly how much it would cost and got the job done in a timely manner. I'd use them again in a second.
