Last summer, during the extreme heat wave, our waiting room was not cooling. ACI came out and began by selling us an air unit that, unbeknownst to me at that time, was for the basement of the building which had no problem with staying cool-it's underground. Next they changed thermostat's, added Freon, basically about $6,200.00 worth of completely unnecessary things.
When I called to discuss the Freon being filled and a $6,000 unit that did not solve the problem and asked if they could possibly reduce that second Freon fill-up they (I recall his name was Jason) would have none of that, he somewhat belligerently started spewing off all of the things they had done, which seemed meaningless to me since the problem was never resolved by ACI.
The last couple of invoices from the company I was not receiving. When I spoke with a woman there about that she didn't try to solve the problem, rather she got argumentative and reacted as though I was lying about not getting the invoice stating "they were sent, I'll send you a screen shot". Later a woman with better problem solving skills confirmed the email address and we realized it was going to the company email, not my work email that we had communicated through before.
This is not a company that believes, or even ACTS like they believe, the customer is right. I would have liked that $6,000 that we just paid another company to fix the REAL problem. Our American Home Shield warranty company with the new house works with ACI Northwest for repairs and replacement. Purchased trane heat pump nothing but high energy costs sense 2020 system does not work as advertised aci came out 8 times did not solve problems the technicians are terrible and the manager is worst I advise stay away from them u will only get a head ache.i had a private local technician come he said the wiring to the thermostat had been spliced and not replaced And the freon line were not replaced from the old System both a big no no stay away from ACI

In general, our experience with ACI has been positive but this issue has now been going on for about a month and a half so far and the same problem is still there. To date we have spent $550 dollars and still have no heat or hot water. The Crown boiler that ACI installed in 2017 required repairs just two months out its 1 year warrantee and is now malfunctioning again.
At this point, having already spent $550 on this issue we are now being informed that the next repair will cost approximately $1380 and there is no guarantee that this will fix the problem either. As much as we appreciate the efforts of the various ACI personnel, we do not feel that this is reasonable service and we would never, ever recommend a Crown boiler to anyone.

Very poor customer service, no return phone calls with eta on completion of job. After waiting 10 days, I was left a message that job would be completed the next day. At time of completion tech was an hour and a half late and then charged double the quoted charge and told me he had to go get the part which was why he had to charge more. The message on my phone however said that the part was in and job would be done next day at 8am. I WILL NEVER recommend or use this company ago. Very unprofessional!

Had good luck and service last year. Furnace quit a couple days ago. I called for service and was treated like a dog by the receptionist answering the phone. She said they were too busy and I should just call someone else. They will NOT have any more of my business. Purchased new furnace and a/c from another firm. I only wanted to schedule a service call. Nastiness from the receptionist was truly unwantd and unprovoked. Likely one of the owner's relatuves. Shouldn't have customer contact.

We had a problem with prior service. I pay quarterly but discovered ACI missed two quarters of service and in fact the filter for one of the heaters had not been changed since April 2020. I finally got ACI to send out a maintenance technician and I'm glad because Tim Anderson was the one who showed up. All of the responses pertain to Tim. He was the consummate professional, he was thorough, attentive and discovered a lot of work that had not been performed. Very easy to talk to, personable and good at explaining technical matters. We want Tim to be the tech who cares for and performs all of our maintenance in the future.

In the middle of the heat wave our air-conditioning unit stopped working. Contacted ACI and they sent out a technician within 2 days. They are understandably very busy. The technician found the problem, failed capacitors, and replaced them with units from his truck. Now we once again have a cool house. Their charges are reasonable and their service quick and professional. We would recommend ACI to anyone with an air conditioning problem.

My AC had been out for about 6 days during a heatwave combined with heavy smoke outside, and I haven't been able to open up my house at night for fresh air. The technician, Tim Andersen, showed up at the beginning of the time slot, figured out the problem, and fixed the issue. He replaced the fan motor and a capacitor, knew what he was doing, was very professional and knowledgeable, and very courteous. I am so grateful he was able to replace the motor today and not have to make me wait longer for a part to come in. My heartfelt thanks! Jackie Boardman

We had a fan installed in our house. Our ceiling is 18' high and our electrician, Andrew, was very knowledgeable and efficient. Andrew is an excellent example of how an electrician should conduct themselves. He offered advice and demonstrated how to operate our fan. Andrew is an asset to ACI Northwest and I hope they appreciate their employee as much as we do.

Ryan W. did an exceptional job with the maintenance on our heating system. He was friendly, polite, courteous, efficient, compassionate, respectful, timely, highly skilled and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to me what he had done and how the system works as well as why the maintenance was necessary. Yet again we are very pleased with the service of ACI Northwest.

I called ACI based on the reviews, I wish I had the same experience. Maybe they are good for just regular HVAC installs, but not what I needed. The good: - On time and polite. The not so good: - Extremely high prices - Misdiagnosed what was needed by measuring incorrectly - Charge for coming out and estimating. (I can understand, but not everyone does it.) I wanted a motorized damper put in, so I called ACI based on the reviews.
They did tell me of the service fee up front, which I was ok with. I'm fine for paying for someones expertise. The technician called about 30 minutes prior to arrival. He inspected the duct and removed some insulation to take some measurements. I was told I had the option of either a 8" manual damper or motorized damper. The motorized one may require another fan to turn on and that they would have to check with codes.
The technician called back later that day with costs. It seemed rather high. I had another company come out for an estimate, they didn't charge a service fee and discovered it was a 7" duct and not 8". The kicker came when they gave me the estimate.over 50% less. Guess you know who didn't get the job.

ACI installed a new furnace 9 years ago, and I was pleased with that whole experience. I am now signed up for yearly maintenance checks on my furnace, as I would not always get it done each year. They are clean, professional, on time, and explain everything. I especially like that they have local technicians in my area in the Silver Valley. Everyone is great to work with from the person that schedules your visit to the technicians that come to your house!

I've been using ACI for many years. Each visit is made by a service man who is always on time and so respectful of my home and our needs for their expert service. I always have a place to take notes for the answers to questions I may have for them - like when I need to service my filters or adjust my thermostat as those are challenges for me.
They take the time to answer all the questions and have given me directions on how I can make my home more comfortable with the temperature with only one thermostat for 4 levels. They gave me the option for a replacement part that would prevent a potential problem. I'm very happy with them and will continue to do business with them- thank you ACI!

This is my second review. We recently had ACI out to replace a furnace and the technicians were as professional and courteous as we could hope for. They laid down tarp to protect our carpets and swept the stairs when they were done. Our mechanical room is cleaner than when they started. Aaron Williamson and his associate Skyler did a great job, the new furnace is installed, and we are beginning to warm up. Also, a big thank you to Timothy Coleman who helped diagnose the problems and then delivered us two electric heaters to help us through the process and did so on his own time.

We came across ACI after searching online and paying attention to reviews. Couldn't be more pleased. From the initial phone call with Felicia, to the same day servicing of the service rep, Ryan, it was seamless. We learned a lot about our unit in the process, great communication and explanation from Ryan - and ended up signing up for their Preferred plan. We have a cabin in the area and needed work on our propane gas fireplace insert. The front office was helpful and efficient at getting a time scheduled that would work during a time we would be there. I even had to change it and it was no problem. Ryan arrived on time and gave us a call prior to alert us that he was on his way. He identified the problem, had the parts available to fix it and gave us a thorough explanation as to the issue. Polite and efficient, Ryan fixed our insert and explained the bill. Would definitely use this company again:

After being scammed by a **horrible** company (RDI DO NOT USE THEM) I reached out to a friend of mine who's Aunt Tanya works at ACI. This company had my back from my first call and took excellent care of my situation. Seriously, Tanya saved me $4,000+ today. Tanya, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for getting us scheduled with Dean so quickly and understanding my worry and frustration!
I was told by RDI that my furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and that I needed a new one. Tanya sent Dean out from ACI to check if that was the case. Dean was professional and reassured me he would run tests for carbon monoxide (my greatest worry) as well as check the whole furnace for a leak. He took his time and extensively looked for any sign of repair needed.
Guess what! No leak and nothing wrong with my furnace. I may not have spent thousands of dollars today on a furnace but when I do, I will be paying ACI and fully trust them to take care of everything like they did today. Thank you again Tanya and Dean for offering us the help we needed. We are now loyal customers and will recommend you to EVERYONE we know.

Was very nervous who to call. Honestly seems that so many companies, no matter what their specialty, the customer service is fair to none and the quality of their work, poor. The woman I spoke with on the phone was patient and kind and followed through with Ryan, my serviceman. Ryan followed through as well as promised in communication, timing, follow up call and every thing was done. By the way I am long distance that adds another level of challenge. So happy with this company and now I know who to call for HVAC!

ACI is a great company to call for all your heating, electrical, and any other kind of technical needs. Ryan is so great and knowledgeable when it came to our fireplace needing fixing and our heating/air conditioning and our water heater. Our furnace quit in below-zero temps and when I called ACI Northwest, they were at our home the same day (even though they had to drive 50 miles to get to our place). My husband suspected the furnace was a lost cause and sure enough.we needed a new one. We asked ACI and two others for quotes. ACI was the best not only in price, but also because they were willing to do the job much faster than the others.
They installed our new furnace today, did the work quietly, proficiently, and even took care to wear booties on their feet and cleaned their worksite when the job was finished. We have heat again and I'm a happy camper. We want to thank Bobbie, Aaron, Skylar and Jason for their great work and outstanding customer service. We recommend ACI without hesitation.

I agree with the fraud aspect I believe these guys came out and serviced the heater and right after the service when the heater no longer works now want to charge me to come out and repair it. The repair guy was extremely rude on the phone and I will never use them or refer them for any servicing or replacement of heater or air conditioners if anything I will do my best to get the word out of how they treated me

I just had then come out to put an AC unit in my new house. The sales guy was great, he did a full Manual J on the house, which none of the other AC guys did (Granted they all came up with the same size unit, but the Manual J is the industry standard for estimating unit size) which showed me right away that they knew how to do things the right way.
Price wise they came in $600 less then any of the other contractors and were going to get it installed 3 business days later, where everyone else was going to take a week or more. After looking up reviews on FB and G+ i was sold and knew these guys were a quality business and the way to go. Installation day came and the installers showed up an hour early, worked quickly, and quietly, and next thing I knew I was sitting in my office feeling cold air when the installer came in to tell me they were done, in about 2.5 hours. There was no mess, no fuss, no problems. I would highly recommend these guys!
