Honest, professional, patient in explaining AC parts and services. We got our capacitor replaced and we got a new hard start kit installed. Manny was providing the readings, providing pics of pre fix and post fix pictures. He was knowledgeable and honest in his opinions. I hired them to get a second opinion. I usually get the maintenance tune-up from Home Depot. I'm glad I got them to provide diagnostic readings. I'll continue using Cypress from now on.

We have been using Cypress for the last 20 years. They installed our first HVAC and we installed a new one a year ago. We're happy with their service and all the service technicians are very professional and knowledgeable. Today Manny was sent to perform our maintenance. We asked about the loud sound and in our bedroom when the system starts up. He worked this issue before so he recommended we have a damper installed to correct the noise sound.

Major Thank you to Cypress Heating and Air! This holiday season our old unit for our cat building decided to quit working, got an estimate on Tuesday and job completed on Friday! Amazing service and very respectful to our property and animals! We will for sure be returning to them whenever we are in need of their services! Thanks again!

Cypress installed my HVAC and did an OK job. I recently purchased some air filters for my system. I called and spoke to Joanne and she identified my account and was able to place my order based on my installation. I waited a couple of weeks for the filters and when I brought them home, they were the wrong size. I called and spoke to Joanne and who said that she ordered the wrong ones and would place another order.
There was no apology or some type of customer service to rectify the situation. New filters finally arrived and I went to the office again to return the old and pick up the new. Joanne stated the difference in price was $20 dollars. I asked due to the issues of ordering the wrong filters and making me travel multiple times, was she able to waive the cost.
She told me NO! I asked her again politely and she smiled and said NO! This is totally unacceptable. She made the mistake and cost me more than $20 of my time that was needed to pick up the correct items. Joanne was rude and not helpful at all. I would find another place to buy your filters.

Overall, I'm happy with the work that was performed. Enrique Chavez is a true professional and obviously knows his business. I have no issue with how he diagnosed the problem with my system and got me up and running; however, I do take issue with the cost of the job. By the way, I wasn't told beforehand how much I was going to be charged. I trusted that your charges would be fair. Enrique spent about 90 minutes at my house and installed a 1-pole Contactor; the retail cost of that part is about $15.00.
He also put in a new Honeywell thermostat, which retails for less than $50.00. My total bill was $644.70! Since your invoice doesn't break down labor and material charges, I'm left wondering why the invoice was so high. I realize you're in business to make a profit on each job but still, $55.00 in parts and 1-1/2 hours of labor seems very high. Now I know what Bob would say if I called him.
He'd remind me that you've been in business since 1975 and you stand by your work. I know all that. As a customer, I would feel better if the invoice showed a breakdown of parts and labor charges. I think the customer deserves to know what they're paying for. Thanks
