A great company to deal with. Owner is super - no pressure sales type. Very knowledgeable, courteous, prompt, etc. Further, every tech I've met (during installation and annual A/C and heating checks) is very thorough, helpful, honest - never pushing add on purchases. You can deal with company on phone or online. They confirm appointments via email with a picture of tech so you have zero surprises when they arrive - and they email to tell you the minute they're in transit. I highly recommend Residential Heating & Cooling!

They are very professional and did a wonderful job installing HVAC. The price was better than anyone else and they were able to set up an appointment right away. Eric and other workers were very friendly and personal. Eric was able to recommend right HVAC unit that just fit into our small closet space and with our budget. Eric was able to personally help us out on really short notice and was super awesome! We got home from a family trip to an 87-degree house during one of the hottest days of this year. Eric came out within 2 hours on a Friday night and fixed our unit within 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this company!

Great experience and incredibly responsive. I called at 6:45am and the owner called me back within the hour. They had someone out to examine my HVAC after it had gone out the night before by 10am that day. Service rep that came was incredibly nice and accommodating, and waited while I completed a business meeting before meeting with me to talk about replacing my system. Totally would recommend them. They managed to fit me in the next day and installed with absolute courtesy and professionalism.

Eric and his team are great! They are all so nice, professional, and trustworthy! Anytime I have called with a question or problem Eric is always so kind and helpful! Today a family member of mine, who wasn't a customer yet, was having an issue. I called to ask some advice and Eric stepped up and helped out and got someone out to assist with the issue the same day! I truly appreciate Eric, Kendall and the rest of the team for their help!

What a nice experience I had. The A/C tech Steve was so helpful as he explained everything he was doing to make sure my system was running as it should. He even made friends with my dog Rocky. Also I would like to commend Kendall for her excellent customer service. I have been doing business with this company for years and have never been disappointed.

We had a furnace/AC installed by Residential five years ago. Worked great! First inspection call on the AC since the onset of Covid. John, tech for Residential, was impressive! It is always a pleasure to see a master craftsman/technician work. Signed up for the service plan. Highly recommend Residential, will use them when our system eventually needs replacement.

Was referred to Eric at Residential Heating & Cooling while looking for a new AC. Boy what a referral! Not only was Eric patient, understanding, and professional, he took the time on his vacation to go over any questions or concerns I had. Perfect communication and very knowledgeable. Kendall was awesome following up communication through email and Ben/Nick were kind and professional during the install as well!

No hidden fees or charge ups or pressure by stating the prices are going up by the end of the month like my old guys did. I ended up upgrading to a 2 stage AC and loving it! They were so great, I had them do my parent's AC. Did i mention they have the best warranty out there too?

Boy, did I luck out finding the "Residential Heating and Cooling " company. I have used many other heating/AC companies over my 44 years of homeownership and none of them measures up to Residential. Starting with Kendall in the office when I call with a question or to schedule an appt. She is always so pleasant and helpful. For many years, I have only needed annual maintenance service for the furnace and AC units in my home.

Each of the technicians that has come out has been efficient, respectful and patient especially answering my many questions. The owner of the company, Eric, even came out to my house when I was making the decision to have them install a new furnace/AC. I was very impressed by this. Wish the owners of other companies would follow suit in this if warranted.

It really shows how invested they are in providing great service to their customers. The two guys, Matt and Alex, who did my furnace/AC installation couldn't have been better. Not only were they respectful and polite, they were very cautious in maneuvering units in and out and cleaning up after the work was done. I have used many companies for many things over my adult life. Residential Heating and Cooling is one of the best of the best.

I can't say enough good things about this company. When I first called, 10 years ago, the owner Eric responded. He was knowledgable, kind, and responsive to my concerns. Every technician over the years was on-time and experienced. i NEVER felt like I was getting taken. Their prices are fair and they only fix things that need to be fixed. Their costumer care has always top of the line.

When I would call and talk to Kendall, she would ease all my worries. She always promptly responded and scheduled my service. I couldn't have survived owning a rental home if I didn't have residential Heating and Cooling on speed dial.

There was a time when you could look someone in the eye, shake hands and it meant something, and it remains true today. I highly recommend Residential Heating and Cooling as an outstanding locally owned and operated Schaumburg business which has achieved its 5 star reputation for good reason. Eric the owner, clearly explained what different options were available when we needed a new heating and cooling system.

The installers, Matt and Alex were great and exceeded all expectations. It is always a pleasure doing business with people you trust and respect, and that is the most accurate way to describe our experience with Residential!

We purchased our home in December only to have issues with our furnace a week after moving in. After the first repair from Residential (and the recommendation to replace the furnace) we had our heat go out again in January. Both times the service we received was above and beyond. My first call was at 7am-before they technically opened-and the second time in January was at 12:30am.

Both times Eric answered and was calm, kind and reassuring. He moved around schedules so we could be the first appointment of the day since he knew we had two little kids and no heat. Each of the service technicians that visited our house were knowledgeable and friendly, always ensuring our questions were answered before they left. I never felt like I was receiving a sales pitch from anyone. They just came today to install a new furnace and the whole experience was great. Could not recommend them more!

First thing this morning at 8am, I called for service with Residential Heating and Cooling and spoke with Kendall. Kendall was very helpful and answered all of my questions patiently and professionally. She also sent us a link to connect the thermostat to Alexa. The window for repair was scheduled for 1-3 pm and the installation was actually completed during that window. Jonathan was the responding technician, and he was very polite, professional, and knowledgable.

He informed us that it wasn't the furnace that was the issue but the thermostat. During the installation, Jonathan thoroughly explained the new thermostat and was able to connect the thermostat to the iPhone app for me. We appreciate the timely and effective service and will continue to use this company in the future for heating and A/C needs.

Residential Heating & Cooling helped us with a competitive quote after receiving an excessively high price on a furnace from another local company. Kendall assisted us after-hours to reach an agreement on a new furnace and we were able to have it installed the next day. Very satisfied with our experience and would definitely use Residential again.

My furnace stopped working on a Sunday night. Within an hour, Ben was there working on a diagnosis. Kendall who is the Office Manager is ALWAYS so professional! When answering the phone she consistently and slowly lets me know who she is and who she is working for. Can't tell you how important it is that those calling can understand what she is saying. Plus she has an abundance of knowledge about heating and cooling so I trust what she says. Also important to note that when she doesn't have the answer, she'll find out and call back in a timely manner.

She is the first impression of this business and she is wonderful. Also want to compliment Ben who performs twice a year cleaning and maintenance of my heating and cooling systems as well as the humidifier. Texts to let me know approximate time of arrival, consistently wears a mask and the booties so dirt isn't tracked into the house, communicates service results in a way that I can understand, and is most knowledgeable about the products he is servicing. He is an excellent representative of an excellent company.

The team at Residential Heating & Cooling are very professional and perform great work. Communication was great and all throughout the installation Kendall and Eric were very transparent with all the costs involved which were reasonable compared to others. Absolutely the best experience I've had. The owner Eric is a joy to business with. I received installation of a new Air Conditioning unit eight hours after I made the phone call. His crew is fantastic. Exceptional work. No need to call any other HVAC company. Just call Eric!
