I had an issue with a SE Florida company that I had been doing business with for many years. They sent me an offer through an email advertisement, then when I tried to claim the offer they refused to honor it. I wasted a ridiculous amount of time with back and forth emails trying to clear the issue up, which may have been an honest mistake but reeked of bait and switch tactics.

I eventually decided to file a complaint with the BBB and that very same day a manager for the company in question left a voicemail to let me know he was sending the product free for all my trouble. Thank you BBB, it's great to know there is a reliable consumer advocate out there with the the "star power" to hold big companies liable for the little guy.

I was hopeless and I did not think anyone could help me out not even my bank. BBB saved the day and really made all the difference. I thought I'd lost almost $500 for an incorrect booking of flights on a site that was not my fault at all. I reported this to BBB and I got an email from them that they are looking into the issue right away. Next thing you know after days and 100+ emails, and tweets the company that refused to acknowledge my issue replied back to me immediately with a resolution soon as BBB reached out to them. They offered an acceptable offer to me to rectify the situation. I am grateful to BBB for helping me out. Thank you so much.

First time using the BBB, I filed a complaint and the issue was resolved in 1 week. I went back and forth with the company and BBB helped mediate. I tried to contact the company first over an arbitrary parking charge in a private lot. I learned the company had over 1000 complaints with the BBB & F rating. It was impossible to contact this company directly so I contacted BBB.

It was an easy process, they helped me solve this issue in a professional, amicable way. Sometimes it's just better to take away the emotions out of situation & let a mediator help you. I highly recommend contacting them if you ever have an issue with a company in South Florida. Don't think a dollar amount is too small to file a complaint, sometimes it's about the principle of the matter & making sure others know. The complaint is recorded & hopefully it may help others. Thank you for your help, BBB!

Car was totaled in 2021. My gap insurance providers refused to pay the full amount. I spent months fighting with their support lines explaining the issue and getting nowhere. I ended up contacting a lawyer who contacted the BBB on my behalf. The next day I got a call from GAP informing me a check has been sent out to satisfy their portion of the remaining balance. PLEASE USE BBB.ORG. THEY GETS ISH DONE

BBB helped me, help my dad. My dad is a senior citizen and a company that he attempted to do business with failed on delivering a service. My dad tried to contact this company but they would not ever answer or return his contact attempts. He had lost money dealing with this company and he do not have money to lose. I volunteered to help my by trying to contact the company.

I received the same treatment as my dad, recording; no callback. I then filed a complaint with the BBB on behalf of my father. BBB acknowledged my claim and within 3 weeks the company sent a replay with a resolution! The claim was closed. So one behalf of my father and myself. THANK YOU BBB!

BBB helped me get a refund in full by being a mediator between me and a company I was having issues with. I was able to file a complaint online at BBB's website. It was easy to navigate and the process was simple. All I had to do was explain my situation, leave my contact information and upload a couple screenshots to provide evidence. Then received an email a couple days later with a resolution from the company, I excepted and complaint was closed.

Thank you BBB for providing this simple service to consumers that may have no where else to turn when disputing actions of a business. 100% recommend BBB if you need help resolving an issue with and business even if they are not a business accredited (member of) by BBB

We filed a BBB complaint against a Water Remediation company that damaged our wiring while using their machines, and overcharged the insurance company, plus double billed them. I tried to work things out with the company but it wasn't until I filed a BBB complaint that they were interested in talking about reimbursing us for the $555 electricity co bill to repair the damage they caused, and to get reimbursed back for the overcharges for items they didn't complete but billed the insurance company for, which reduced the amount our claim would have had for our repairs. Yes, we did settle the BBB claim with them, and the negative review on them showed resolved.

I truly believe without the BBB process I would still be out over $1000 and trying to fight with the company. The BBB staff was very helpful and fair and the online process runs smooth.

Once again the big tech corporations are trying to take advantage of the consumer. I had a complaint with Straight Talk, I have been a customer of theirs for many years, but when it came time to switch carriers, I was treated very poorly. Long story short, I was 3 days into my service and I switched on the third day, when I did this, I had automatic withdraw from my account, I asked them to pro-rate what I had used for the 3 days of service and they absolutely refused, I tried to work with them, but to no avail.

I needed the BBB to step in, because they are all about protecting the consumer. Once they were involved, my problem was resolved in a matter of days. Straight Talk knew what they were doing, bc they so much as told me so, When I told them I would be contacting the BBB, their response was "So.we've been reported before" What kind of business says that to long standing customer.

End result, if you have any issues with a businesses and can't come to some kind of agreement, Please contact the BBB, they were there for me, when no one would listen to reason. Thank you BBB!

The Better Business Bureau has helped mediate issues I have had with businesses for 20+ years. The ONLY time they have not been able to assist me in getting a business to do the right thing is when a business is not reputable and frankly don't care about their BBB reputation. That is RARE, thank goodness. And even when they don't respond or do the right thing, my voice has been heard for other consumers, and anyone can see their response to my dispute. I ALWAYS go to the BBB reviews before purchases. I always know if the business has integrity or not!

I am very happy I contacted the BBB about my claim. I am a little unhappy that the company decided not to act, but to refer me back to the people who had denied my claim in the first place. I have accepted I won't get anything done, so I have moved on. BBB did do my a great service, just the company did not. You can see the engine was very clean, and the only wear was polish marks from the roller.

They were the sweetest, nicest family owned and operated company when they wanted to sell their AC units to us, however, once they put them in, things changed once they got their money and the brand new units gave us tons of problems. Having to call them because the units weren't working properly. They had attitudes, especially when the owner had to come out himself.

The owner, Randy, was nasty and condescending, and charged for service calls even when it was a problem caused by the units that they installed. I changed companies and I am now using a company my neighbor recommended called Air Around The Clock. I called them with a problem and they were here within the hour. I wish I would have known better when we needed to purchase the new units.

If I would have known all the problems and the days I had to take off from work just to be told that they couldn't get to me until 6pm, when I initially had morning appointments. I highly recommend NOT using this company. If so, I hope you have a better experience than we did!

These guys did a great job installing my AC unit several years ago, and they came back today to do a service call on a slight issue I was having. The tech, Javier, was friendly and courteous and made sure to double check everything that was going on. He explained everything in detail, and listened to any concerns I had. The cost for repairs was decent, and they also made sure to let me know about other possible issues to fix but only if I felt it was necessary.

They were never pushy about anything, and everything was completed in a timely manner. The owner, Randy, is very knowledgeable about the business and his office staff, including his wife Jennifer, are efficient and courteous. I will definitely use them again in the future for any properties I own.
