Gene May has been servicing my equipment for years. Always professional and prompt. They installed two new High Efficiency Furnaces and two Air Conditioning Systems for me. The quality and perfection of the installations was second to none. I have referred them to many friends.

Called this company to look at my parents non working central ac. Tech told us the compressor is shot and parts are not available so a new central ac is needed. He also suggested a new furnace as well. Later that day, we called Home Heat Air under recommendation of a friend. He diagnosed a bad capacitor, fixed a leak and refilled the system for a total bill of only $500.00.

A far cry from $8,794.00 for a new hvac system. I've asked for a full refund of the service call. This is exploitation of a senior. I have a notion to report this business. Please do not use this company.

Our A/C conked out on a day when it hit 93 degrees. Gene May Heating & Cooling was highly recommended by a friend and exceeded our expectations. They offered to send someone that day. Larry was right on time, so personable and helpful, and got everything fixed up and restored quickly. Our immediate problem was fixed, and they pointed out and addressed two other looming issues. Exceptional service and a great value. We will be bringing them back this fall to tune up our heating system.

No doubt, the best service and professionalism I've seen in the business. I've used Gene May for many years for annual service and they've been fantastic. I just had a new Furnace and A/C installation yesterday and it was more of the same. They're just not installers, they're experts that have great pride in the work they do.

Our a/c went out late Sunday night, in the middle of this recent heatwave. We were able to contact the office and our service technician to arrange for an emergency service call. Our technician, Larry C. showed up early and was able to repair the problem in a quick, professional manner. Larry has been our hvac guy for many years and always does an outstanding job. I would highly recommend Larry and Gene May agency to anyone in need this type of work.

Service costs have gone up with this company. Tech replaced a simple ignition sensor. Was charged $175.00 for the part and $150.00 for the service call. This was not even an emergency call. Cost for this call seems unreasonable. I was expecting $175 max.

They did an excellent job of coming to our house on a Holiday and getting our furnace running again. Will use them again in the future. Highly skilled professionals!

Great experience working with both Karen and Larry when our air conditioner stopped working! Karen was very knowledgeable and walked me through the steps to take to thaw out our frozen unit so it could be worked on when the technician arrived. Larry came out, quickly assessed the problem, replaced a part and had us up and running in about an hour. Both Karen and Larry were super nice and wonderful to work with!

Have used Gene May for years and years. Had them come out to replace a thermostat and the final charge was $357! Outrageous! Everyone says they are great, but too pricey. Will not use again after 15 years. Too bad!

Gene may hearing and cooling are the best out there from the person who answers the phone to the technician Kevin and Rodney you guys are the best. I was referred to this company by a co-worker. Rodney came out on a Saturday morning and gave us a quote. Very friendly and professional. We had our units installed a week ago and we are so pleased! This is a top notch company. Great service, great products and no gimmicks! Also, several great rebates! If you need a new furnace/AC, you can't go wrong with Gene May!

Gene May, is by far, the best HVAC company we have ever worked with (and we have tried several other HVAC companies). Last year, when our basement flooded, they had the new system installed in just a few days, while neighbors were still waiting for heat from other companies. This year, when our upstairs furnace and A/C were shot, we again called Gene May.

We called them on a Tuesday, had a quote by Wednesday, and the two day project was completed by Friday. Rodney, the owner, came by twice, to make sure we were happy with the work. The final bill came in almost $200 under the initial quote. Gene May also found two different rebates for us, and completed all the necessary paperwork. It is rare to find an HVAC company that is both honest and conscientious. We were very satisfied with the work and would highly recommend.
