Heat Relief

We had a gas line leak that Heat Relief came out and repaired for us. NW natural identified the leak and turned off our gas appropriately but of course that meant no hot water or heat for our home. We found Heat Relief on the NW Natural gas approved contractors list. Heat Relief team listened and understood our specific situation and sent out trained professionals who fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. So thank you Heat Relief team!

Professional, on-time, and great service from start through the installation process. John did a great job meeting with us, going over the different alternatives and discussing the installation alternatives including pros and cons. Not pushy, just providing clear information and facts. The installation, completed by Steve and Isa was started and completed on time.

They went out of their way to ensure the install looked great from both the inside of the house and the outside - coming up with a plan to minimize the number coolant, electrical and drainage lines visible on the outside of the house which was very important to me. Lastly, the price was lower than another quote we received with lower quality equipment (as independently verified by me). Such a great experience. We're now ready for whatever high temperatures are thrown at us this summer. Highly recommend!

These guys did a great job installing our heat pump with ducted system downstairs and ductless upstairs. When things didn't work as we thought they should they went to work figuring out how to fix it. Then the came back and fixed it for us for free. They stand by their work, are helpful, kind and not crazy expensive. I recommend them.

The contractors who came to my house were not professional and communicated very poorly. They put me in a bad position by making me search for the specs needed for my gas range while they stood around unhelpful. They drilled into the outside of my home WITHOUT telling me first and I have an HOA so now I just have to hope the HOA doesn't find out or I will be fined.

The cost was exorbitant and not at all communicated to me ahead of time. When the range arrived to be installed, the gas line didn't work at all. I had to ask these people to come back and fix it, and now they are charging me additional money for that. I didn't have a working stove for nearly a week. I called the office, was told a tech would call me.

He did, but said he couldn't help and I had to wait for someone else to call me. The run around was unbelievable. When I asked why it wasn't communicated to me that they might have to come back and do more work, they said "I don't know". I have asked to speak to the manager twice and have been told he is "in a meeting" or "just stepped out" and he (whoever he is) has not contacted me. I am deeply disappointed with the service here.

They were willing to come fix a gas leak for me after hours on a Friday until almost 7 o'clock. It kept me having heat and hot water for the weekend. Kind, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them! Service: Repair HVAC

Friendly and responsive service from start to finish. Unfortunately, I have a finicky system that requires a specific unit they do not carry BUT they were very honest and knowledgeable about the situation and set me on the right track for getting it repaired. They were recommended to me by my neighbor and I would certainly recommend them as well. Thank you Heat Relief!

This was a great professional experience. When I called they was so kind and worked to fit me into the schedule the same day I called. They were personable, professional and thoroughly explained each step of the process. Estimates were given before anything was done, and cost of service was reasonable. Overall I am very happy and look forward to calling them for maintenance services going forward.

The service tec quickly diagnosed the problem and set to work fixing the problem as I watched. He happily explained what he was doing and why. The person who took my scheduling call was super nice and clearly communicated what I should expect. The repair tech arrived on time, was organized and explained clearly what was going on with my system. When I was dubious that the problem he was describing was the cause, he took the extra time to prove his theory rather than blowing me off. I have used this company multiple times, and they're the best in the biz, in my book. When it comes time to replace my aging system, I'll be using them.

I called today, after I realized my heat was not coming on, at 3:45pm. I fully expected to be put on the schedule later in the week. The nice lady that answered said she wanted to try and rearrange the schedule, for someone to come sooner, because I was without heat. Low and behold I received a phone call ten minutes later and a technician was on the way. Bob showed up 20 minutes later and saved us.

We had just blown a fuse in the furnace and he had it changed out in just a few minutes. He even showed my husband how to change it himself. He was very jovial in spite of probably wanting to be on his way home. I would recommend these guys to everyone.

Fantastic service. The service guy, Bill, didn't bat an eye coming over Thanksgiving morning to fix my furnace. His son was waiting in the van and he had pies baking at home, but none of this kept him from providing superior service. He was at my house and done with the job within 3 hours of contacting Heat Relief at 6 in the morning. Bill was fast and friendly, and in the process he taught me about the insides of my furnace.
