Complete install including new ductwork. Very easy to understand, informative, no hard upsell, super competitive actually got more for my money, and they pointed out additions and included that made me wonder why the other companies never mentioned although very important to a great install vs one with inconveniences. I am positive no one is going to take care of you better! I have no relation, not even familiar with them previously, but SO GLAD I found them!

Every change of season this shit doesn't work. We gotta pay another fee to get someone our tho our house and they don't do shit! I'm tired up this! It's 97 today and our A/c doesn't work. We turn it on, no cool air. Turn it on and off for a while, nothing at all. Fucking bullshit! A year after this BS was installed, AC didn't work. $800 worth of Freon, of and that's not covered by This BS warranty.

These are the only folks I trust in Fresno to maintain my ac - heater unit.

Our air conditioner was out of service. A J.C. Melton sticker was on our unit, so I called them. When I called they had a different name for our address. I told them we were not the original homeowners and they just told me they were not taking new customers. So we ended up hiring a different service company.

Sergio and Chris, were extremely professional, polite, respectful, efficient, and proficient. Sergio let us know when they arrived to work and when they would be leaving which eliminated any guessing games. They listened to any concerns we had that pertained to the job. They also wore masked inside. We highly recommend them!

These guys are heavy metal gurus. I had to deal with two other sheet metal contractors before finding Meltons. I was looking for chimney caps and they didn't disappoint. The first contractor gave me a quote that was twice Meltons and an additional 2000 for install and crane. I texted them twice to accept and start the work. All I got was crickets.

The second quoted was cheaper but again I had to chase them and getting them to confirm anything as far as thickness of material and even overall size was impossible. Melton was 3 week start to finish. Heavier gauge material and install included. When I need other work Meltons the one to call.

Awesome people. They are all very nice. Very welcoming. Peaceful atmosphere. In the office.

We have been using JC Melton for 20 years and they have never let us down. Quick, efficient, and above all honest. We are sure that all of the JC crew are professional, but we always request, if available, Jacob for all of our needs.

Our AC unit went down the night before a 105+ day! Yikes, we called Meltons AC but could only get an appointment for 5 days out but then we got a break and Thomas came at 8:15 am on Saturday! He was very professional, polite and got to the reason quickly. Fortunately he had the part on hi truck and repaired the condenser unit. He checked and cleaned the unit and our AC was working again! The gals in the office set up an appointment and when I met with the tech he was very knowledgeable and nice to speak with. He diagnosed my issue and repaired it on the spot. I haven't had any issues since! I will be calling them back for any problems I have in the future.

My wife and I have been customers since the early 1980's. We have found them to be people of their word throughout this time. Their service people are polite, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. In this day and age it is nice to be able to experience this level of comfort with a business.

I needed some crazy custom flashing done for a roof project I'm working on. Tom was very helpful and within 5 minutes he had drawn exactly what I needed. Not only that, but the next day my flashing was finished. Cut and bent perfectly. I would recommend Tom and his crew to anyone who needs sheet metal or HVAC work done.

They installed an HVAC on my 1945 house that had never had it, so it was a troublesome job. They were knowledgeable, professional, and the considerate of the fact that they were in someone's home. They were the only company I hired for a home repair that didn't cause me a headache! I refer them to everyone, and they never disappoint. They diagnosed a heating problem that other companies couldn't even recognize.

Don't use them! We had an entire heating and ac unit installed. Last Jan it stopped heating. It took 5 service calls to get it fixed at $133.50 per svc call. They changed two parts a pressure switch and a circuit board, both under warranty. Fast forward to Dec '18 and once again it's not heating correctly. We've had two svc calls, the first one determined we needed another pressure switch!

The second one to install *another pressure switch. Before the technician even got his paperwork filled out, it had stopped working, again! This tech did everything he could possibly do, to get our heater up and running. He brought in another tech to help him out. They determined our unit wasn't installed correctly, originally and wasn't vented, correctly. Soooo the service mgr and the asst svc mgr were due to come out today. NOPE!

They couldn't keep the appt they set up on Monday! They called at 11:30 and said, they'd call sometime next week (Christmas), and come out and look at it! So, we still have no heat in our house, except for space heaters! The unit is still under warranty, but the warranty is crap because of the ppl fulfilling it! Run.go find a more honest and reputable company to give your money to!

I purchased my A/C and evaporative cooler through JC. Did a wonderful job and I have had it serviced every year. The tech is timely and explains the service, cost of parts, etc very well. You do not need to be home for the service, but I prefer to be present. They also offer a fall service that you need to sign up and pay for. I am doing that this year for the first time.

The service technician (Tim) came right out & got everything fixed A++. The office gals are top notch - professional and personal at the same time - answered all questions and went out of her way to verify I got the email she sent! LOVE THIS COMPANY! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

This company is an excellent A/C company in my personal experience, they are not perfect, as none of us mortals are, but the service I have received both with my new unit instlled in 2013 & my parents long time service with Melton, please give this company your business. Every company has hickups & Melton is no different, like this year, appointment made in advance for twice yearly services, but Melton got somewhat behind & were an hour late, here again we are not perfect.

They installed a complete new unit for me in October 2014 and modified some ducting. The workers were very polite and professional. A few months into the next summer we found it was blowing warm air. They came and fixed it under warranty. The same problem continued every couple months over the next year - past the warranty - but they continued to work on it and not charge me.

They finally traced the problem to a water sensor inside a condensation level device required by the state of California. They had replaced this aftermarket part a couple times before switching to a different manufacturer which solved the problem. I was very happy they never gave up and continued to treat it as a warranty repair. The unit has worked excellently for 2 years now. Thanks Melton!

BEWARE! Had an entire system installed just over one year ago, then then system wasn't working, was told I was responsible for a service call of $89 after the service call of 25 min, my unit was still not working and was billed the $89. When I called back I was told it would be another $89, being quite frustrated at this point the service manager Brian said to call someone else, even the owner Curt would not return my call. They do not stand behind there work unless it's to take your money! Do yourself a favor and give your money to a company who deserves it!

Recently, I had my AC go down during one of the hottest days of the year. As luck had it, everyone was booked a few days out for which I stumbled across a local HVAC company that was able to get to me the following day. They arrived, quickly mis-diagnosed my problem and to add insult to injury, charged me more for the service call than was advertised on YELP.

They claimed that it was old information that they didn't even post. They said my AC unit was bad that Id have to get a new one. (roughly $4-6K) After a rough nite and no sleep, I decided to get a second opinion and a friend referred me to J C Melton. I called and got a friendly lady that SOMEHOW managed to squeeze me in to their schedule. The Tech arrived, did a deep dive into my AC unit and isolated the problem. He made some recommendations and got my unit up and running. Thank You tons J C Melton!

Will never deal with this company again. Very disorganized, and dishonest. They were nice the first few times and then took our trust for granted. They were charging for parts to fix and AC unit (they we later found out was not even repairable), just tell us we need a new unit instead of racking up nearly $1100 in parts and hours! We ended up going with another company who came out and told us exactly what we needed, and what do you know, we have a new working unit!

Wish someone would have been competent enough in the beginning to tell us this. And we are still working through our billing issues from this disaster that happened in JUNE. I've been told they just haven't "gotten to it yet". Such a disappointment.

This business was a pleasure to work with. They had competitive prices and terrific customer service. Had no problems, in fact the installers went above and beyond. Curt was prompt when he came to the house for the estimate and was easy to work with. My emails and phone calls were answered quickly and always to my satisfaction. Danny, Joe and Martin were courteous, prompt and careful while completing the installation and the new heating and air conditioning unit is great.

I called JC Melton Air Conditioning after our homeowner's insurance prompted us to have our furnaces inspected on our new home due to age. Jim was prompt, courteous and incredibly knowledgable. He found health & safety hazards missed by previous inspections and had photo documentation for our home warranty company. They were also way more reasonably priced than some of the other big companies in town (by about half!). I would definitely recommend and plan to continue working with them in the future!

It is really hard to find people who you can trust to come into your home to fix something. That is why I am so happy to have found Melton Air Conditioning! They were respectful, fast, and funny. I would recommend them to anyone!

I did not feel like they were after my money but the technition cared about me and office people were very nice in setting up my service call. I actually had a good experience for the first time I ever needed a service call. I would highly recommend them to you.
