Excellent service. Called at around 8:30 am 6/28. 1. Got an appointment for that same morning 9-11:30 am 2. Tech name was confirmed - Rick B 3. Tech called exactly at 9 to confirm address 4. Tech arrived before 11am 5. Tech was done at 11:30 am and before heading out 6. Tech called to confirm repair done, root cause and resolution 7. Tech said office would send electronic invoice 8. Tech headed to other jobs 9.

Office texted invoice about an hour later with link 10. I used link to process payment asap 11. I was prompted to this survey, I could not pass up (I usually never do surveys, I don't have the time) but I had to do this one. This team is "off the chart". Not only I will use them again, but you too have got to start using them. All the above spells one thing for this company: CLASS & EXCELLENCE.

When it comes to any service, it is hard to find someone you can trust. I have found one I can trust. It is 5SHC team. Just yesterday 6/27/2022 someone quoted me triple the cost with other services not needed, and with my tech background I would not let myself fall in that trap. This team proved me wright. They fixed exactly what was the issue, as I indicated and I paid the wright cost. If any of you all out there can relate, 5 STAR HVAC CONTRACTORS is your solution! Have had issues in the past with our ac unit. Warranty company was a pain. Called 5Star and they came right out. Troy was able to diagnose the real issue and give an estimate on repair and replacement. We chose replacement. The team was out the next day to remove the old unit and replace with the new one. They were quick and clean and made sure to double check their work for leaks. Thanks for the great service and help. Allen

The people 5Star were amazing from the owner to the installers. We called for a new HVAC system at 10 am on Monday morning after being without AC since Saturday. We had an inspector on our doorstep by 10:45, a quote by 11 from the owner and installers by 220 to replace both the heating and air. The installers were very professional and cleaned up everything behind them including sweeping our hallway.

They went so far to replace our filters and clean the vent return which I had planned to do. The air conditioner worked beautifully and we would highly recommend them to others for all their HVAC needs.

Our 5 Star technician; Jose, came on-time during Memorial Day and diagnosed the problem. They returned next day and took pictures of the needed repairs. Job was completed in one morning and they cleaned up after themselves. No hassles and great service! Will use them again for sure. Services: A/C system repair, A/C system maintenance

I didn't have an actual appointment, I called when my A/C quit suddenly. The technician came quickly. He diagnosed the problem & repaired it fast. He was very professional & did more than expected ( he had to move things for attic access). He was very courteous. I have found a new HVAC company to handle my home. Service: A/C system repair

Troy has been helping us maintain our systems for years now. Recently we had to replace the office unit. He was fair and on point with price and quote for full install. His crew and him were right in time, neat and efficient. The install went extremely smooth and came out great! Very pleased with Troy and 5 Star! Update: The Owner of the company came out and made the needed repairs to the system and corrected the thermostat settings. He was very nice and walked me through all the changes made and the settings. He spent time discussing what happened to the system and what went wrong. He also relayed that the man who had installed our system and that I had been contacting was no longer with the company.

We were very satisfied with The owners visit, his gracious demeanor and his time he took to make the repairs and correcting the thermostat settings for the back up heat. He also is reimbursing us for not only the extra charges to our electric bill for the system running inefficiently but the whole month's bill.

Jose actually answered the phone when I called around 7 am. He gave me a quote for a new system then had someone out just after 9 am to verify that was the size we needed. They were back just after 1pm to install a whole new system. Finished by 5. Omar even fixed my attic ladder! Very neat, efficient and professional! I definitely recommend them!

Our AC stopped working and we knew we needed the entire system replaced because of issues we've had the past couple of years. We received quotes from a Few different companies. I'm so happy I found this company based on a Google search and it's stellar reviews. Jose was so helpful from start to finish. He gave a quote over the phone ( which most places don't because they try to pressure you in person) he then quickly came exactly the time he said he would to see what we needed.

He didn't pressure us, answered all our questions and gave us the best deal in DFW. He even helped us after hours into the evening to get it financed for us. They came early the next morning ( today) and installed our AC and new heater. The contractors who came were extremely professional and exactly on time, they cleaned everything and made sure everything was working perfectly. They did a fantastic job and were so careful carrying everything in and out. I would recommend them to anyone! 5 stars isn't enough!

Rick was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, displayed good ingenuity and very friendly. I have a mini-split unit that is not as common in the N. Texas area, but Rick was familiar with them - although not my specific model, but didn't take him long to figure out what to do and how to do it. Showing interest in what he was seeing, he willingly showed me what he was seeing and doing. Rick found the problem, fixed it and patiently waited to endure it continued to function properly. I'll definitely make sure 5-Star is in my contact list.

Called at 8PM on Sunday, attic unit is not blowing air but condenser outside is running fine. Jose took my call and Rick showed up at 9:35AM Monday. Rick is a no nonsense kind of guy who got right to work. He listened to what I had discovered about the problem, investigated, diagnosed and told me that Jose would get in touch to discuss timing and price. Rick was off to his next call.

Because of a part delay Rick showed up with my new blower motor and installed it today rather than yesterday. I am fully satisfied with the work and the promptness of the repair. I'm relieved replacement is not yet necessary. Had it been an easier to find part they would have done it quicker, I have no doubt. Also, temps are mild so no worries. I'll trust 5 Star Contractors again some day.

We are very happy with 5 Star HVAC. It's the little things that matter. Troy brought over a portable a/c unit to keep us cool until they could schedule the installation of our new HVAC. Having filters replaced can be a challenge in hard to reach areas. 5 Star HVAC was able to fit me in the same day without a long wait! I worked with Troy. My upstairs unit died. He came by early Saturday to see what I would need and promptly gave me some options by email with all parts and work included and line itemed on the quote. I decided around 5 in the evening to get a whole new system installed after deciding between several companies. I chose Five Star because they are smaller company but very straightforward and honest. Troy said they could come out early on Monday.

The tech Carlos and his assistant started work on time at 9:15 am and finished about 1:45 am. They did a great job removing and replacing the air handler in the attic. It was leveled and sealed nicely. They replaced the pad for the condenser and installed that really neatly. They were very considerate about keeping my home protected with drop clothes and were helpful to answer any questions. The old equipment was removed and now the new Rheem system is cooling great! Thank you Five Star HVAC Troy, Carlos, and crew!

Technician was very thorough in diagnosing and repairing my air condition system. He explained what the issue was and what was needed to repair the system along with the cost. After completing the repairs he checked each of the vents inside to verify that cool air was coming through. They also provide duct cleaning. I will definitely use them again for any future problems.

Called 5 Star HVAC Contractors to come out and perform routine maintenance on my A/C unit. The company was very good at communicating when the technician would arrive. Pros: 5 Star is quick when you call, and they do respectable work. Cons: they are kind of like used car salesmen when they find a problem. Our condenser was leaking, and they competently diagnosed the problem. Then the attempt to overcharge started; "it will be $3,600 to replace it, but if you say yes right now, I can knock it down to $3,200". Needless to say, I got several bids for it.

Total cost, $1,900. AC works great now. Didn't need to pay 5 Star an extra $1,300 to make it happen. I can only imagine that their technicians get a cut of the up charge.

My air conditioning system stopped working yesterday early afternoon. I called Five Star HVAC and was told that Billy High would be at my home between 3:30 - 5:30 PM. I was very surprised that I was able to get same day service, what a relief! Billy called about 30 minutes before the appointment and when he arrived was quickly able to diagnose. the problem and told me how much the repairs would be.

I was impressed that Billy had all the parts necessary to make the repairs and later that evening he called just to make sure everything was operating satisfactorily. I would highly recommend Five Star HVAC and Billy High for any of your HVAC issues.

Very impressed with Billy. Called on a Sunday night and he was at the house by Monday afternoon. He was very thorough and quickly diagnosed and fixed my AC. He did all of this for a very reasonable price. Will definitely use this company in the future for heating and air work.

5-star contractors indeed. Our outside HVAC unit suddenly stopped working on a Friday night. Requested a quote at noon on Saturday, got an immediate quote within 30 minutes, and they were able to send a technician within an hour. Not just any technician, but Wes the man. Pulled up to the house on time, figured out the problem even before he rang my doorbell, and fixed it all in less than 10 minutes, all the while giving me helpful advice about maintenance.

In the end, I was quoted a very reasonable price, at least 1/3 cheaper than a few others that provided quotes. TD;LR exceptional customer service and competitive prices. 100% would use these guys again. Thanks, Wes!

These guys rock. Highly recommend if you're sweating inside your house. Messaged at 9 am, they were at my house by 11 am, same day. They were gone by 11:30 and my house was 4 degrees cooler by noon. Fees were totally reasonable and explained everything to me in simple terms. It was a great experience.

We needed some duct work done for our office and Jose was great through it all. It was the fall/winter so it was the slow season for HVAC contractors. I was out on vacation when I noticed via my Nest thermostat that the house was not cooling. I looked up 5 star and was not disappointed. From the first contact who was so good at decreasing me anxiety with his listening to my concerns and arranging Billy (lead tech) to come out ASAP. I was out of the house and Billy was let in by my neibor who said he was pleasant and thorough.

Our AC decided to call a quits on us yesterday, I called and Billy High was out first thing this morning. Unfortunately as a first time home buyer I had no idea you're supposed to actually service your AC so it was a mess. It took all day to repair the damage my ignorance caused but Billy was super nice and gave us tips with the water heater too! He walked my husband through how to keep it clean and when we need to call them again, plus the price was better than the other 3 places we called! Highly recommend!
