Essig Plumbing & Heating

I would highly recommend Essig they were fast giving me a date to do the work, they kept me informed by email when he would be here. They also called and sent me a picture of the person coming to do the work! That was fantastic no one else does that made me feel safe about who was coming! Work is excellent! Thank you!

I had both a plumbing and HVAC issue at the same time. Making an appointment was a super pleasant experience. The representative on the phone was so friendly and helpful - she really put my mind at ease as this is the first time in our home that I've had issues like this. Both technicians that came out to my home were super friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to listen and answer all of my questions. Mike and Jesse are both awesome! I highly recommend Essig for both plumbing and HVAC maintenance!

Both Weston K and Joe W came to our home today to improve air flow on our system to better balance temperatures between floors in our home. They were knowledgeable, courteous, worked efficiently and had pleasant personalities that you could communicate well with. Although it has been only one day and it is quite room outside, the temperatures between the floors appears to be pretty consistent. Hopefully, it will continue through summer and balance heat also in the winter. These gentlemen were terrific!

The work has been completed successfully by a very professional and overall a nice guy whose name was Alfie! I have always been satisfied with the work performed by Paul W. Essig Inc.and will continue to use them, especially because of Alfie!! I just wish that there was some kind of discount for seniors living on a fixed income! However that will not deter me from using Essig again! Thank you very much for your service and again the great work and professionalism shown by Alfie!

Fantastic team and fantastic experience. Had a new furnace, AC, and hot water tank installed. Brain Y led the team in very cold and trying outdoor conditions. He explained the process and executed on it flawlessly. Job was done as expected and completed well within the 2 day timeframe that was estimated. Team was curteous and professional and involved us in key components aong the way as needed. Explained all the important components of the equipment at the end. Great job! Would recommended Essig to my friends and family.

We are very happy with the job that was done! Brad arrived not only on time, but a few minutes early! He quickly discovered the problem and fixed it. He gave several options and gave us price estimates for each. He was respectful and took good care to keep the surroundings clean and neat. We would definitely call this company if we have a need in the future!

They were able to confirm an appointment for the next day at 11pm at night after our boiler died. Even though it's taking a few days to actually get our heat back on (it needs to be replaced), they worked very hard to get us options on repair/replacement and eventually get us a new one as quickly as possible. Both techs we worked with were very knowledgable and helpful.

I think it must be said, without reserve. Justin Heist is a gentleman in the finest sense of the word. Always representing Essig with the highest regard of honesty and integrity. As a 30 year retired teacher, I recognize immediately people with special talent: How to explain the problem - make sense out of the terminology - demonstrate with hands on applications and then, present to the customer.

He does this with ease. He works efficiently and always with the polite knowledge that he is in someone's home. As a senior citizen especially, I highly recommend Essig and Justin Heist.

Alfie is very professional and considerate of my time. He is excellent with my 2 dogs. Alfie is always on time and completes the work in the time frame stated. We always request Alfie and trust his judgement about what we need done completely. He has never tried to sell me something I don't need or tell me something needs to be done when it is not required.

I trust Alfie completely. I needed the experience of a plumber once again. Alfie was requested and arrived the next day the office was open. He was able to identify the problem with the toilet and is now preparing a proposal to replace the floor board that is rotting away. He corrected the problem for now. As always Alfie was prompt and let me know right away what needed to be done. I would never request any other service technician. Alfie is very professional and considerate.

Jesse Mowrey corrected a plumbing problem that I was experiencing with knowledge for the service, courtesy, exceptional customer service skills, and the most pleasant personality that I have encountered in a long time. He clearly explained to me how I can avoid this problem in the future. I would be happy to have Jesse service any future plumbing issues that I may experience,

Alfie L. arrived at our home on time. Since our water leak repair last week, the water pressure in our home had been way too high at 120psi. He replaced our old pressure regulator with a new one and also replaced the old aerator on our kitchen faucet. he was very pleasant, courteous, and helpful. Thank you very much; we really appreciate it!

I have been using Essig for approximately 25 years and have received exceptional service from day one. They are responsive, professional and stand by their work. Today my service provider was Mike W. He arrived on time and was both professional and personable. He serviced the heating and air conditioning systems. His work was thorough and through this, saved me $ in potential future repairs. Thank you Mike! I will continue to contract with this company because of the exceptional service I receive. BTW, the office staff is great to deal with too.

I've been a customer of Essig's for many years.In fact, my parents used Essig for their entire married lives. Never disappointed. I've had the plaeasure of meeting several of the service techs. Always willing to take time to explain the issue and most often indicate options where appropriate. Yesterday Aaron M came out to fix several issues with kitchen and bathroom faucets and drains.

He was professional, but friendly, and explained everything so that I could understand what would be involved in fixing the issues. Participating in Essig's service partner plan gives me a sense of security where my heating and plumbing are concerned...it's nice to know they'll be there ASAP whenever needed, and will make me aware of potential problems and ways to avoid them.Thank you Aaron for being prompt, courteous, professional,and thorough.

Jesse M came for the annual plumbing check and was punctual, very professional, and knowledgeable about everything. He was able to replace some rusting wash machine hoses and replaced a drain cover in the basement. He suggested some upgrades, but not pushy. He was a pleasure to deal with as have all the men who have been at our home over the past many years.

I had some minor plumbing work done by Essing. I feel I was seriously over charged. This is what I had done: new toilet supply line, plus a new valve. A new flapper., and a new shower head. I was billed $790 for this work. Like I said, I was seriously over charged. Service: Toilet repair

Austin and Justin were extremely professional and personable. They explained everything to me to make sure I understood the installation process and the equipment. They were very responsible in maintaining cleanliness as well as current COVID-19 precautions. I would highly recommend this company and these gentlemen!

We required emergency call on a Friday afternoon and was given appointment between 2-4, then got call couldn't come until Saturday. Worker came to repair well pump assessed the situation and called for another worker to bring equipment that was needed. Workers were very professional and did a great job. Done in4 hrs. The negative is the company's one flat fee instead of basing it on labor and parts needed. Did contact company and made management aware of my disappointment in price. States he would a credit but not done as of now.

Justin and Aaron were an incredible team. They installed our new system, and stayed-the-course until every detail was perfect. In this COVID environment, they were thoughtful, careful and incredibly professional. Grateful for their commitment to ensuring a job well done!

They did a good job on my heating system but one of the trucks backed into my truck parked in my driveway...I contacted them and I am not getting any satisfaction. They came and looked at damage and said they would get back to me...its 2weeks and can't get anyone to answer my call...NOT GOOD BUSINESS!!!

Similar experience as others with regards to quotes being insanely high. Water heater needed to be replaced. Quoted over 3000$. Called for breakdown. Water heater was about 1000$. The rest was labor, profit and misc. told them it was way higher than others and they took off 500$ with no hesitation. Still too high. Feel for those who don't know any better and pay these prices.

Look around there are equally as reputable companies who are more fair in prices. The tech and sales manager were both very nice and professional and I had no problem getting an appointment.

Unfortunately, I seem to have to call Essig at least once a year to come and take care of some malfunctioning or broken essential item in my house - water heater, toilet, AC unit etc. Joe Wolf has been out a couple times and has been very professional and helpful. He seems to know our house at this point and makes a thorough diagnosis. The cost may be a little more than if you shop around but I like knowing they come out quickly, do a good job and warranty their work.

I've used Essig several times already in the past we always ask for the same technician he always did great work but this time they sent someone different so I figured ok if he's as good as Phil were golden well not this time I always come home from work and look at there work cause I'm always impressed by the quality of there work I had them come out to fix my tub faucet and drain and replace my outside faucet when he fixed my tub faucet he broke the cover and instead of saying something he filled it in with silicone and never replaced the outside faucet I'll still use Essig as long as it's Phil assuming he still works there

I called them for a vent fan failure on my hot water heater. I googled the part for $220. Finally when he came he checked the tank and also noticed my high pressure overflow tank had also failed. So he said for two parts they always recommend an entire new tank. I said what would the parts and repair cost. He said $550 for the fan( the one I saw for $220) plus the overflow tank that would be $1000-$1200.

But for a new system $2700! I started to cry and said I could barely afford the $65 walk through the door fee. Told him also I saw the part for $220. He was kind enough to just charge me $30 for the appointment and said if I needed further help to call. I asked hourly fee he said they don't charge that way and if I order the parts online they were basically a snap in part. (Really?) so I ordered the parts. Amazon, $196 for the fan $37 for the overflow tank. Did it myself with some you tube instruction. Quite a price difference. I think they are big rip off up sale scammers. Shame on them. I gave them more stars so they wouldn't remove my report.

Mike W. is the best HVAC tech. Very friendly & competent. He has been coming to my house since it was built 5 years ago. Always remembers me, the house, etc. Good to have this kind of person coming to your house - someone I know and trust.
