Novak

Steve from Novak was very helpful and is a really great guy. Our air conditioner froze up and after a few days of trying to fixing it ourselves figured we should get it checked out. I called Novak in Hiawatha and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Steve was there the next business day, on time, and very helpful getting our air conditioner fixed for us.

My only regret is not calling them sooner. Would have saved us hours of time trying to fix it ourselves and we could have avoided some rough summer nights without air conditioning. If you are looking for heating or air conditioner repair in Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha, or Marion areas I would highly recommend Novak.

Can't say enough good things about Novak Heating and Cooling. We've been customers for 20 years and have always had excellent service from every Novak team member. Recently, we had Steve replace a part on air conditioning system and he was professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable. Plus, we love sweet Kim who coordinates service calls and front office. I have been using them for our service. They are punctual and helpful. I appreciate that so much when getting work done on the house. Also, they do duct cleaning like their name states. I would recommend getting this done occasionally! It makes a huge difference. So far so good! David was fantastic taking care of our service call this month!

The entire process of working with Novak Heating, Air & Duct Cleaning was simple from start to finish. I have an older air conditioning system and wanted to make sure it was running as well as possible in preparation for this summer. I filled out their form online and they called me the same day to schedule my appointment for service. In the meantime, Randy emailed me directly with items to check before they came out for service. Adam from Novak came out today to check my system.

He was on-time, extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the parts that were causing some issues, why they were causing them, explain the costs and fixed item as needed. There was no pressure with any part of the process and without asking he even wore shoe covers to help keep my new carpet clean when he came in the house - much appreciated there! Would highly recommend Novak!

We hired Novak to clean our air ducts in our house. Jake and Aaron did a fantastic job! They called ahead to let me know they were on their way, were very friendly, and did a great job. They asked if I wanted the dryer vent cleaned as well. I hadn't even thought about this and told them yes and was very happy I did. I will definitely use Novak again.

We would like to thank Aaron and Jake for their efficient performance of cleaning our house ducts and vents this week. They were promptly here at 9 and communicated what services were to be performed. Very polite and friendly young men and didn't waste any time getting the job done. We haven't had the vents cleaned for about 10 years but will definitely be calling Novak again on a more regular basis!

Have had consistently excellent service from Novak since starting to do business with them over 7 years ago. We have them do regular spring and summer maintenance, they have installed new heat and AC for us as well as a whole-house humidifier and a condenser-unit isolation kit. Technicians have been very professional and customer-oriented, particularly kudos to Adam and Aaron.

Adam communicated well and was here when he said he would be. Explained parts that were need and shopped vendors for the best pricing. Installed part quickly and got the furnace running. With temperatures below zero I was extremely grateful. Adam was friendly, professional and willing to answer any questions I had. Great experience!

We moved into our new house and swapped out the existing thermostat with a Nest Learning thermostat. After a week or so, we were experiencing very little airflow and really cold spots in our upper level. Called Novak and got an appointment the next day. The technician Adam was extremely helpful. Explained that the system we have is not getting any benefit from having the Nest thermostat installed.

We reinstalled the old thermostat (found out it was much nicer than the Nest). Also while looking at our furnace, he discovered an installation issue from before we owned the house. He fixed the additional issue under our warranty. He had to also re-wire our thermostat line. He exhausted several options to make sure we were up and running. I have always done my HVAC work with Novak and HIGHLY recommend them for any needs you have. Also, Adam was awesome. He had outstanding customer service and worked efficiently.
