After being in the Heating and Air Conditioning business for 14 years Scott Lovotti went out on his own and started Lovotti Air in 2006. Scott began his company with him and a helper, and since 2006 has built his business to where he employs 12 full time employees, and 30 summer seasonal employees. Scott attributes his growth to word of mouth referrals by providing excellent service to customers at a great price.

This company is a waste of space. They were working on my home off of a contract with PG&E and the "Energy Savers Program" and were set up to replace my water heater. Its been shut off for 2 weeks now and have seen no action from them. My mother called them multiple times and they responded unprofessionally saying "just heat up water on the stove" and when i finally called them and spoke to Sandra she couldn't get me a date on when they would come out to fix the issue.

They found holes in Hvac exhaust on the roof, which they repaired and sealed. They didn't try to tell me that there was more work then was needed. I was showed before and after pictures. They came out a week later to check with water to make sure there was no leak. They were great! Services: HVAC duct & vent repair, Plumbing leak detection

They did an excellent job replacing our HVAC system with a system that is considerably more quiet and efficient. They made the area it's in look much nicer. Also, we've used their plumbing people to replace our kitchen faucet and on another occasion they replaced our water filter system. They are very professional and efficient. This fall Lovotti's installed a new HVAC system in our home. This included all new ductwork, a new thermostat, and a hot water heater. We had a great experience with them! The salesperson, Ryan, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and honest in his dealings with us. He and Bryan who coordinated services were flexible, accommodating and were great communicators.
They responded quickly to any and all questions/concerns we had. The technicians were great as well.a special shout out to Danny and to Richard who went the extra mile for us! Thank you!

They called us to come out and do an AC tune up through PG&E, our AC unit had been working perfectly prior to their visit. I even have video evidence of the technician confirming that our AC unit was working perfectly. It has not worked properly since that day and does not cool down the house. There is clear damage to the units coils which they cleaned and Lovotti INC is not willing to fix the damage they created. Do not go through this company.

Your company really came through for me today. I discovered a leak last night and was panicked about finding a plumber to come out today. I called your company and got a return call from a plumber within the hour. They arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, did the repair and left a very happy and satisfied customer! Lovotti tech replaced the start capacitor on my AC in July. It caught on FIRE in October. Lovotti dispatched a tech the same day. AFTER the tech fixed the AC, he handed me a bill for $300 and said the fire wasn't their fault. I refused to pay because I didn't authorize the work. I tried 3 times to discuss the situation with Lovotti. Each time they promised to have a service manager call, then just sent another bill.
Now they've sent it collections. If I could, I'd give them 0 stars for quality of work, poor customer services and performing work without written authorization. There are plenty of good companies out there - steer clear of Lovotti.

Technician came out and diagnosed a bad fan motor was the cause of our AC unit short cycling. 3 hours later at approximately 4:15 pm when we turned on the AC it again short cycled and shut off after running only 3-1/2 minutes. When we called the office they refused to send someone out till Monday. Totally unacceptable after a $378.00 bill!

We had a drain that was partially clogged, so I tried to fix it myself. After I had completely clogged it to the point where NO water was draining, we called Lovotti. Jose came out and fixed my fix. Friendly, professional, no muss, no fuss. Except that he had to leave in the middle of the job to replace the snake that was defective. Other than that, though, everything was good. Next time I 'fix' something, I won't hesitate to call Lovotti again.

My GC recommended that I go to Lovotti for my AC, which stopped blowing cool air. The tech, Tony, came by and assessed the compressor and found a broken capacitor. Easy fix for him. I also got a small leak filled just to get by. He didn't pressure me at all to replace my coolant lines. There's a reason that this business has been around for so long: good service at a reasonable and honest price. Don't let Lovotti's average Yelp review dissuade you. AC service can and will be costly.
At least get a professional like Lovotti to come by and inspect your system. And don't expect service right away. If it's summertime, you'll be in a queue for AC service.

Was lucky to work with Jose from the plumbing division on an issue with water backup at our home. To our detriment we had called Bell Brothers previously that promised an $84 clearing which took two days for them to show up and after four hours couldn't complete the job. The technician recommended that we spend $500 to pull the toilet. I ended up doing this myself to save the cost.
When that didn't fix the issue he recommend we install a $3,000 clean-out. I decided we needed someone local. Within less than a few hours Jose and his crew showed up to our house. He asked only a few simple questions and within 15 minutes the issue was repaired. Albeit embarrassed for calling the first company I know I will always make sure to contact Lovotti for any HVAC and plumbing issues we are having. A bad day turned good thanks to Jose and his team.

Lovotti installed two entirely new HVAC systems in my home, converting them from natural gas to electric. It was a big job. As challenging as the installation was due to COVID-19, they worked really hard to get the system up and running. The team of installers was professional and courteous, and the cost of the system was very fair. I've used Lovotti to service systems in the past, and this is the first installation they've done for me. I highly recommend them. When unforeseen problems arise, they work with you to address them, too

I needed some electrical work done in my home. I called and was told that the electrical manager would call me back. Later that day not hearing from him I called again. I called again the next day. 3 days later I never got a return call. If this is the kind of customer service you get from them before you hire them I can only imagine how bad it would be after.

THIEVES. DISGUSTING. I'm outraged. The people who came to fix our lights are THIEVES. I hope you all learn to never trust this company, and that the worthless thieves are reprimanded! After having two of their men come into our households to fix the walk in closet's lights from the master bedroom, I noticed that a small pouch I had left on the top shelves was missing.
That pouch contained a diamond necklace and a sapphire ring from my late mother, and are extremely important to me. These workers had come in two separate times to fix the light, and they are the only people other than me and my husband to enter our house. It was foolish of me to trust these lowlives with handling the lights without constantly overseeing them. I'm angry and utterly disappointed. NEVER TRUSTING THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!

We received a call from PG&E for an energy consultation, and we accepted their offer. The consultation was provided by Lovotti. Sergio and Avante arrived promptly for our consultation. They were courteous, professional and efficient. They replaced the furnace fan motor, recessed ceiling lights and thermostat, saving us an estimated $180 per year on our PG&E bill. We were positively thrilled with their work and highly recommend them.

Recently had people ask me who I would recommend for HVAC and plumbing. Without a doubt, Lovotti inc! They have majorly bailed me out twice in the last couple of years. In 2017 our HVAC went out 3 days before my daughters 1st birthday with predicted temps of 103! Lovotti came out, quickly assessed and had guys on the job the next day. All was fixed and cool for the party to go on.
Just a couple months ago, after dealing with a "mystery smell" -- Lovotti to the rescue again, changing out 15+ feel of ruined piping under my house. Very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and timely! Thank you for being my household hero.

I planned to use this business for heating and plumbing and kept their info due to referrals I received for their services. The person who answers the phone there is terrible. I was even accused of hanging up when SHE (Jennifer) accidentally disconnected me when putting me on hold. Why blame me? I called right back and was accused of hanging up and that she needed to put me on hold.
I called 3 times over the course of 24 hours for service and did not once receive a call back. I would hope the only issue with them is with reception and maybe if my call got to the owner or manager I would have been treated better or got the service I needed :(

Wow. what has happened to Lovotti's. What a change in customer service and support since the previous times I have used them. I had an appt. with them because my a/c was not working properly, took time off work to meet them. No show! No call from them. I called their office a couple of times, left a message asking for a return call. Thought maybe they had a delay or a scheduling mix up.
I wasn't mad, just confused. No return call, ever. it's been weeks. I fixed the a/c myself. Lovotti INC. has changed from that great family owned Lovotti's that I used to be able to depend on and recommend to this. Sad

Lovotti Company, do you read these reviews? It looks like something gets lost between the customer and the front office. If the front office cannot dispatch a helpful person, then this company will not survive. Jose sounds awesome, but I never got to meet him, because I never got to talk with the boss, Scott. It sounds like the lady who answers the phone needs to pass the message along to Scott the boss so that they can send a helpful person to solve the problems which we customers have. Do you read YELP, Scott?

6-22-18. Jose gets 5 stars. The lady who answered the phone this morning gets 2. She just wasn't real helpful and gave me an appointment for Wednesday without giving a time. 6-26-18. Called in to get my appointment time for tomorrow and confirmed appointment. Women who answered was a little more helpful than before. But still poor customer service. Couldn't answer questions and didn't seem to care.
If I didn't already have great experiences with Jose their plumber, I would use someone else. I hope the people answering the phone can get better trained. All calls were made during normal business hours.

They were suppose to come between 3pm and 5pm. They called me at 1:24pm to let me know that the technitian was at my house. My fiance and one week old baby were in the house sleeping, and didn't hear the phone. I called as soon as I saw the message at 1:40pm, and talked to a woman named Silvia. She explained to me that since we didn't answer the phone, that they would have to reschedule for another day. She was rude, didn't apologize, and kept saying it was policy. This wasn't explained to us when we made the appointment.
