Race City Heating & Air

I started to use Race City Heating and air for my home 15 years ago. Justin looked at my old unit and gave me three options to choose from to resolve the issue. Since then, They have helped me with my property in Mooresville and they are the only ones I trust. Today I had an issue with my residence. When I called, they knew who I was and treated me like family. Blaine has now taken over my care and is fantastic.

He knows My family and is familiar with my equipment. Today's issue was a relatively easy fix for him in the issue was resolved one hour after I made a phone call. I know this is not typical but they have always been tesponsive. Race City is the only company I use, simply because They have my complete trust. If you have HVAC issues, the people at race, City, heating and Air will take care of you.

Race City Heating & Air Conditioning are AWESOME! Our unit went out yesterday. We called them and they tried to get us same day and set us up for an appointment for the next day just in case. Blaine came out this morning checked the unit and fixed it for us. I know that anytime I call them they are nice and work to get us back up and running. We will be using them when we change our our AC unit for a new one.

I had an AC problem with 80 degree temps on my 2nd floor. Race City Heating & AC checked in with me before their scheduled service time, evaluated and explained the problem, and fixed the problem. The appointment only lasted about 30-45 minutes and the service man was very polite and informative.

Highly Recommend! They just finished up a full system install. Very informative, helpful, and honest! VERY happy we choose Race City!

This place is fantastic! My central air stopped working today so I called Race City Heating & Air Conditioning and they had a technician at my house in less than 30 minutes. The technician, Blaine, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He not only resolved the issue but also taught me about the system so I can prevent future problems. The service was also very affordable.

On top of that, the representative who answered my call was quite possibly the nicest woman I've ever spoken to. She made me feel so much better during a stressful time. This was an extremely pleasant experience. I highly recommend!

Justin was awesome to work with. I had my second floor system replaced and he was able to address all my concerns. My unit was installed in May 2018 and had great cooling and heat from the new unit. It replaced my 17 year old unit and actually noticed a reduction in my electric bill. Installation team was the cleanest I've dealt with. When I'm ready to replace my other unit I will be calling Justin again.

I researched prices and units and found Race City to be reasonable. You get what you pay for but the team installing it makes the difference. Great job guys. I made my review after I had experience with the new unit.

Race City Heating and Air is the best! We have been a customer for years and they are always fast to respond. They explain the issue and service is done right the first time. Blaine came to our residence when we had a concern about our air conditioning unit not working properly. He came the same day that we called and arrived prior to the window given. He was very professional and knowledgeable in answering our questions. He fixed the problem quickly and told us to contact him if we experienced any other problems. Lady answering phone was very helpful and after calling 3 places and getting responses such as we aren't taking new customers to we can be out Tuesday Race City said we will work you in. This was today, Saturday, Memorial day weekend. Justin came out in a timely manner, repaired unit in a timely matter, and was polite. Highly recommended!

For the last three years we have used Race City. We are always impressed with their knowledgeable technicians and friendly service. They can make same day service calls which if you are out of air on a hot day makes all the difference in the world. Thanks Blaine for an amazing job!

Outstanding Service! My mother had called another company in desperation due to not having heat after midnight. She called the first company she thought of. (Competitor known for scamming clients) They told her she needed a new heating and ac unit. They even showed her pictures they said they took I don't even think they were pictures of her units.

They also told her she had a gas leak, which was also false. Well first of all it was to cold to even ck the ac! Second of all she still had warm air coming out it just wasn't staying on. Seemed like a possible repair to me who knows nothing about hvac! I called Race City for a second opinion and they were ready to send someone immediately to help my mother.

They sent a service technician and he found that her units were perfectly fine and the reason for the intermittent hot air was just simply because it was so cold the condensation line was freezing. Simple! No major repair and clearly no new units were needed. Race City is reliable, more than fair and most of all caring! I will never call anyone else, nor will my mother!

Thank you Race City Heating and Air Conditioning for the wonderful service. When our air conditioning went out it took one phone call to put my mind at ease. Our technician (Blaine) showed up on time and within ten minutes had identified the problem. He explained what it would take to fix our air conditioning and then went right to work. Within an hour we had cool air. We trust this company and have not been disappointed.

Race City Heating and Air was working on my air conditioner when my dachshund has a medical emergency. The technician took the time to comfort my dog and fixed my air. They are awesome!

First I had the main floor unit replaced when the home was 16 years old. This year I had the second floor unit replaced. Then the three year old unit went out due to a bad part that was not replaceable. Justin and his team replaced the entire unit. Now that's a WOW. They do great work, follow-up with great service and are fair with there pricing.

Awesome company! Air went out last night and they squeezed us in as soon as they could today. Knew exactly what was wrong with the unit within 10 minutes, had the part with him and had it fixed super fast! Definitely recommend!

This is one of the best purchasing experiences I have had with an Angie's List provider. Starting with a very professional and courteous person to talk with in order to set up a service appointment followed by a technician who was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The young lady who took my call at 10 AM was very sympathetic to the hot temperatures and the need for service as soon as possible.

She indicated that the technician could be at our home between 4 - 6 PM but may be able to arrive earlier and if so would call to advise. True to her word, the technician, Blaine, called at 3PM and said he would arrive in 15 minutes and he did. He asked what was wrong and I explained the problem and what I had observed. He said he thought it was an electrical issue but would do all necessary tests to insure.

Within minutes he as able to determine that it was a capacitor. He went to his truck and had the one that was needed for my make and model unit. Within 15 minutes he had everything done and we were back to having cold air. Additionally, he took the time to explain to me in detail all aspects of the repair and was very patient with all the questions that I asked.

It was an absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to learn from him. Race City Heating and Air Conditioning will be our go to HVAC provider for all ongoing preventative maintenance and repairs.

I used Race City to installed a new air condition unit last Nov. I was happy and satisfied with their service. They gave me detailed information, advised and answered all my questions so I can made the right choice that fit my house. They are very professional and clean. They never left a mess. Always wear booties when they come in the house. As a matter of fact, I have been a customer with race city for so many years. They are always courtesy and prompt. They never let me down once.

Great Company! I called Race City after having another person work on my heat pump and could not figure out the problem. I called in the morning and they said they were very busy today but they would make sure they got to me. At 5:30 pm Nick Keziah showed up in the freezing cold to get me started. After 5 minutes Nick found the problem and I had heat once again. If you are like me and read reviews, stop reading and give them a call.

Good service, the technician didn't leave invoice and I had to call office. Hard to get them to return calls.

I called during a bad storm as a friend had referred me to them. They showed up on time and I had heat within an hour. Technician was very respectful and knowledgeable. I had used a bigger company in the past and was used to high prices so when I got my bill I was relieved to see it was in the $500 range like the other company would always charge. I will now be using these guys from here on out. Thanks.

I haven't had much luck with HVAC companies in the past so I was very leery about trying a another company. Some didn't work Saturdays, others wanted an extra fee due to the weekend. Race City did not charge additional to make a house call on a Saturday. He showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, had the parts on his truck and had our heat back up and running in 1.5 hrs. Very professional, knowledgable, and great response time. I would definitely recommend this company.
