Folkes is the real deal! I've had my fair share of terrible companies in the area for hvac and this was by far the least stressful install I've ever had in my home. From the sales person Billy. To the two technicians that came Jermaine and Johnny they were all so nice and very professional! Billy offered us this system at a very reasonable price and made the process very easy and Jermaine and Johnny did the install quickly and with no ut ohs. Thank you very much I would highly recommend this company to any of my family or friends!

Folkes Home Service is a well oiled machine. Easy to get hold of an actual human to talk to. Well appreciated when we hit a plumbing emergency on Sunday. Everyone I have talked to at Folkes since then have been professional. Chris and Alex who showed up to do the actual work were amiable, provided updates along the way and did an excellent job replacing the existing sewer line.

They also put us in touch with the clean up company (First Response NY) who also seem to do excellent work. All in all a great experience all around. We will not hesitate to work with them again if a need arises.

We called this business to do an assessment and upgrade to the plumbing in the house we just bought. They sent Rafael, and he was incredibly helpful and thorough. He went through all the rooms in the house, including the basement, and showed us where we needed work, and where we did not. He upgraded all our plumbing, added a new sink, and secured all our older equipment. All of the pricing was presented upfront in a quote and there was complete transparency throughout the process. Definitely recommend.

Jermaine came & installed a new boiler in my home. Folks let me know when he was on his way. He & a few others worked throughout the day, not finishing until 10:45PM! He came back a few days later to move a thermostat & run C wires for my Nests. He was extremely professional & very polite. He made sure everything was working properly & cleaned up the work areas. I highly recommend Folks & Jermaine!

I have been a homeowner in this area for over 35 years and have never dealt with ANY company like this one! From the friendly woman who answered the phone, Jarrett and Rich who came to explain my options and give estimates and the stars, the installers, Matt and Mike! They worked tirelessly from 8am until 10pm to get the job done properly. They knew we had been without heat for several days and they weren't leaving until we had heat!

Everyone I dealt with was super professional, kind and very reassuring. Never felt pressure to by a more expensive system then the one i went with. They were extremely knowledgeable and answered questions, even things I hadn't thought of. I was emailed estimates while sitting with them and they even called to see if the equipment was available for next day install. I have piece of mind and know they will continue to service my HVAC and plumbing needs. I can not thank you enough.

Serviceman was friendly, polite, and professional. The job took approximately a few hours and he was quiet and cleaned fairly well up after himself. I am happy with my service. My only downfall was that it took almost three months for an appointment

Jarrett set a great example at the outset explaining all our options. Very professional and courteous. Mike and Matt with help from Johnny the first day did an outstanding job of installing the system. They worked long hours to get the system installed on the date promised. Matt was the lead person. He explained the installation process and reviewed everything at the conclusion.

We couldn't be happier with our hyper heat pump system. We're still awaiting the Central Hudson rebate but Jarrett explained that it takes Central Hudson a bit of time to process these.

Both Chris and his partner arrived early and completed the job quickly and efficiently. They explained the problem, what they would do to correct it and answered all my questions in a friendly and professional manner. Very happy with the service call. Service: Unclog drain

Danny Bien-Aime was very professional, knowledgeable and well mannered. He explained and answer all questions we had.

My water heater of less than two years (installed by another company) started leaking. Zach Langer informed me it was still under warranty with the manufacturer because of where the leak was. He even said that rather have me call the company that installed it, Folkes could install it for me, and he called the manufacturer. However, I knew the unit was subpar and if he replaced it, there was a chance it would leak again.

I decided to have him install a new (lower priced - longer warrantied) water heater from Folkes. He was there the next day and did a fantastic job. I cannot say enough good things about him. He, (like all the other techs at Folkes) is professional, a pleasure to work with, and will go above and beyond to make the customer happy. He made sure to answer any questions I had before he left. He made my day because he gave me peace of mind! He is a treasure!

I called Folkes to have a toilet installed. The two technicians, Jon and Guy, arrived on time and did a superb job of installing the toilet. They left the bathroom spotless. I'm calling Folkes today to replace two more toilets in my home. I've been a loyal customer of Folkes for over 10 years and they have never disappointed me. They're not inexpensive but they are definitely cheaper than the previous heating and cooling company I used to call, and the quality of their work is always excellent.

Folkes provided excellent service from start to finish. We called them on a Sunday with no running water and not only did they readjust their schedules to take care of our emergency, they stayed 11 hours until it was fixed! Dan and Alex provided expert service and took the time to explain their work and any next steps we should take. We will definitely be calling them in the future for any of our heating or plumbing issues! We would give them 6 stars if we could!

Danny the service guy is professional, fully explains issues to my understanding and satisfaction. Very pleasant and patient. Does great and thorough job. Highly recommend him.

This was the first time using Folkes, and I'll definitely be going back. They were the only ones that would come and fix our furnace issue on on a Sunday and they didn't even charge an emergency fee because it was during normal business hours. Danny was fantastic! Not only did he arrive quickly after I called but he took the time to explain what he was doing and was a pleasure to deal with!

Diego and Johnny were awesome! They were punctual, professional, knowledgeable and very patient with me. I really like this company, they are honest reliable always courteous, I-just started using them, maybe a year and a half two years ago, and I will continue to use them and recommend them to all my friends. We were very pleased with our central AC install. The team worked late 2 nights in order to finish the job within the quoted timeframe. They problem solved when a few issues arose to our complete satisfaction. Very professional from start to finish.
