Couldn't be more comfy! My two-story home was two different temperatures, freezing down and a hot box upstairs. Our 10+ year old system was failing and couldn't regulate the temp. I called Elite and Greg came out in a day or two and by the next week, I had a new system with zones, two new wifi enabled thermostats and an app to control them both. It's a tough pill to swallow; finding out the house you just bought needs a complete A/C system replacement. It is expensive, but Elite had great pricing compared to others (and verified by my dad - a contractor). We not only replaced the units, but we replaced the old damaged ductwork and installed a dual zone system with an added thermostat. We could not be happier with the result! Kyle, Jason and the rest of the Elite team made sure that, other than the fact that we had to pay for it, this was an excellent experience, with really prompt response time, and we are very excited about our all new system, and we couldn't imagine this house without the separate thermostat upstairs.

Kyle and his Elite AC team are the best. I have had a lot of HVACs installed through the years and these guys cannot be beat in quality or cost. One simple example are the copper connections. They use all the proper fittings! I can't tell you how many times I've seen companies pinch together copper tubing and weld it without fittings. Also, the plenums were attached airtight to the units. There was no skimping on mastic where necessary. There are lots of little things I notice and these guys covered all the bases! Thanks, Elite AC!

We have a unit that's almost 20 years old and we're not quite ready to replace so I wanted an honest service. Several reviews had stated that their techs don't try to up-sell you.
They were able to send a tech out, Herman, the following afternoon after our unit went out. Herman was really knowledgeable and explained what the most likely problems were. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly, had the part with him, and had the unit running again within half an hour. Even though it was after 5pm, he fully serviced the unit at my request, since we didn't want to chance something else going wrong with Summer in full swing.
I purchased a package of two complete maintenance services, one for now and one for later, at a 15% discount and he also applied the discount to my repair. I felt the price was already really reasonable. I was super happy with the service and I will be using Elite from now on.

We were having a problem with a dual zone ac unit where it felt like the heat would kick on in cool mode. Our technician Bobby Garcia checked everything from coolant to the programming of the thermostat and everything in between. It ended up being a loose connection. My parents were visiting that night, and my AC stopped working. Can't have that! My home builder (and the rest of the internet) referred me to Elite, and I'm so glad they did. They very quickly returned my early AM VM, and though it's prime season for AC repairs, found a way to send a tech out within 2 hours. The gentleman on the line was nice and courteous and even fun to talk to.
Herman arrived after a heads up call, and was nice as could be.

After being awoken by a dramatic rise in Temps overnight, I quickly called Elite Heating and AC of which they come highly recommended. Herman Iguala showed up even earlier than promised (Excellent), called ahead as promised and was very thoughtful, instructive and incredibly knowledgeable in all things AC and AC Troubleshooting. German was great to deal with. He returned the same day (after 6:00 pm!) when his initial repair didn't take, and then he advised me on next steps which involved a complete system replace. I called up Elite because my AC was struggling to fight the heat and within an hour of calling them, Alex called to let me know he was on his way. Alex was prompt, polite, and very informative. He listened to my concerns and was able to give me an idea of what could be wrong and what the repair may cost. He gave me a good idea of what to expect from the repair as well as how I could mitigate possible future issues by doing regular maintenance. So after being out of town for 10 days, I was ready to come home. I missed the intense weather we've been having, so when I got home I attempted to lower our AC to a more comfortable temperature. My thermostat control system put out a message that we had a system malfunction and needed to call a service technician. I called Hermann, it was a Sunday evening and he offered to come out within 30 minutes, or we could be his second call in the morning.
Fortunately I have a portable ac unit and used it for the night.

2 years after install, I have only a few complaints: 1) Emails quoted me for a 3-ton system, but then the quote I signed had a bait-and-switch to a 2.5-ton system. 2) Additionally, my quote included an expensive repair line for "duct work modifications", which did not seem to happen. (The proper strapping and routing of ducts was already to be included with the HVAC installation.
But there were no extensions / additions of ducts to my knowledge because they all look like the same ole dusty ducts, just strapped up off the ground. Maybe I'm mistaken here, but either way, the hot room I mentioned during consultation is still hotter than the other rooms.) Unfortunately I realized this swap and non-work many, many months after installation and didn't bother bringing it up with management since my online "signature" is on the 2.5-ton contract and because I don't even know where to begin with requesting reimbursement for the "duct work" because it was bundled with insulation.
Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but from what I understand, the salesperson I originally worked with is no longer with the company. 3) Although technicians have seemed unhurried in answering my questions, maybe not all are great at critical thinking around my thermostat's inaccurate temperature displays. *** I have been told that the thermostat absolutely cannot be wrong in temperature readings (nevermind that it is an electronic device dependent on correct circuitry and a slew of variables other than its location). *** I've also been told that there is no way to calibrate the display temperature to match my thermometers (which turned out to be inaccurate; there is indeed a setting that the homeowner can adjust). *** The inaccurate temperature readings have nothing to do with the "Overcool" feature, but I was served a lesson on the latter anyway. It's all a little frustrating for this engineer, to say the least.
If I'm to be generous, perhaps they all just wanted to mark their jobs done and couldn't be bothered to think beyond the scope of the specific task at hand (the coil change, the sealing). *** The only reasonable suggestion was that the readings are expected to be +/- 3 degrees from true temperatures. (!) (This is not the case with my other thermostat, which is always within 1 degree.
I wouldn't think it would be the case with this thermostat either, but that's what the company rep said.) Also, technicians might forget to follow-up even if they say they will. Tip: Easiest to call the office to get on the list for a callback / scheduled visit. So why the 5-star review? I have called Elite several times this past year to check the pressure (which was low, so refrigerant was added), check the pressure again (which was low again, resulting in replacing the evaporator coil due to a refrigerant leak), and seal up air leakage on the indoor unit.
I could have avoided all these calls if (1) the coil hadn't been faulty upon installation and if (2) technicians had been more thorough to begin with, eg considered diagnosing WHY the refrigerant was low at the time (I was told that perhaps it had never been the correct amount when installed), sealing everything properly after replacing the coil.
That said, the customer service end of the company is done well. - Responsive office / call center. - Elite has honored their 2-year labor warranty right up until the end of the 24th month without issue. Though now I'm scared of future costs if something like my evap coil is once again discovered to be leaking, and it takes more than one technician / trip to get to the proper diagnosis and solution.
I do believe that Elite has the right intentions and a respectable approach to business from an operations standpoint. They can't totally oversee the conversations had between technicians and clients, unfortunately. I don't regret recommending them to my friends. (Hopefully no more broken parts are discovered.) Just gotta read the fine print on your quote, pay attention to what work you are / are not getting sooner than later, and do a bit of your own homework!

I entered an online repair request at 10pm. I received a call back at 8:00 am the next morning and Elite scheduled a tech to come out that afternoon. Great customer service from the entire staff at Elite. The evaluation/diagnostic appointment was followed by the appropriate repairs. Both were coordinated by Jennifer quickly to accommodate our schedule. Kudos to Ryan the diagnostic tech for trouble shooting our issues! All technicians arrived as scheduled, were polite, and followed up verbally with an explanation of repairs which were completed. Summer in Austin can easily become "Too Hot" without a dependable HVAC company like Elite.

I highly recommend Elite Heating and Air. They are locally based and offer quality service. The office staff was nice and answered all of my questions. We were able to schedule an appointment within a week. The tech was great. He called and asked if we were ready for him to come. He then let us know when he would arrive. The tech showed up when he said he would which is important!
The tech also wore a mask, which we appreciated! He explained what he was going to do, then what he did do and how things looked. I loved that he wasn't bothered by our barking dog and pet him too! My favorite thing about Elite is that they sent us a checklist after the service. It explained what was done and the results of each thing. Our Facebook neighborhood page is always looking for recommendations. I will tell my neighbors how great Elite is!

Our AC unit was only blowing hot air. Phoned elite they were here within a few hours. They evaluated the inside and outside units, saw that the wires had been cut with the weed wacker. The answering service took the message, the technician called me within 30 minutes and was at my home within the next 45 minutes. Loved this company in the beginning, especially Ryan who is 100% reliable, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Unfortunately I had an ac problem and had a different technician. I questioned his diagnosis and cancelled the work order. Upon calling them back to request price and reorder of service, this tech Never Called Back. 100% unacceptable. Bye-bye.

Our experince with Elite Air was wonderful. We had struggled with our home Air Conditioning situation for years. Our bills were sky high and our unit did not work efficiently. We called Elite Air and Kyle Bacon was amazing! He was full of information and experience. Kyle came to our house and did a VERY thorough evaluation of our system and the duct work.
He offered different options for us knowing that our money was tight. We chose to get a new unit, new reconfigured duct work and new air intake vents. We have lived in this house for 7 years and our AC has never been this COOL and our bills this LOW. even on 100 degree days here in Austin! I cannot say enough good things about the entire process. The job was finished ahead of schedule.
The men worked so hard to get it done and I hardly new they were here each day. They also left my house spotless each time they left. We have lived in this house for 7 years and our AC has never been this COOL and our bills this LOW. even on 100 degree days here in Austin! I cannot say enough good things about the entire process. The job was finished ahead of schedule.
The men worked so hard to get it done and I hardly new they were here each day. They also left my house spotless each time they left. A/C went out earlier this week, and Greg was my service tech. He was on time for scheduled appt, called ahead to let me know on his way, and one of the most professional, knowledgeable, and personable folks I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He started troubleshooting right away and worked diligently to determine precisely what was causing my outage.
After replacing several components in the process of elimination, it was determined that the 19 year old unit was indeed done for good. Greg promptly got on the phone to get my unit replaced as quickly as possible. While he's on a much deserved break this Saturday morning, I trust him when he says his #1 crew of Angel & Hector will provide the same high level of service that he would. Fingers crossed I've got a working A/C when I update y'all about the installation! Update: Angel, Frank, and Kevin arrived on-time and got to work straight away! They've given me an estimate of 3 hours, so here's hoping for a nice and cool Caturday afternoon!

I recently used Elite AC and signed up for their Bi-annual home servicing. My experience was great from my first phone call to inquire about pricing. Alice was very friendly and helpful and emailed me back as she said she would that same day. Ryan was my HVAC tech that came out and was very knowledgable and professional. He showed up on time and even wore booties over his shoes as a professional courtesy.
It took about an hour or so and he answered any questions I had. My stepdad is an HVAC tech in Arizona so he gave me a list of questions to ask and Ryan answered all of them. I would highly recommend Elite and will also recommend to all of my neighbors!

These people are the BEST! They set up the HVAC system- soup to nuts- in my new custom built home. Did a great job within a very, very open, crazy modern home. No attic/no basement /very few walls equals real need for pros. To the point, though: I initially chose the level of unit/blower/motor, within a budget that I barely understood. In a house with few walls. YIKES!
I had too much noise. Whoops- time to "fix". Kyle and his staff worked with me, bit by bit, on the solutions. They started with the least expensive, least invasive first, and then we all moved forward from there. Not a long process, but they were very patient. In the end? I ended up buying a new motor/blower that I should have chosen in the first place.
My fault, not theirs, and yet? Oh. My. Kyle was ridiculously fair on the price, and? We have quiet, quiet, QUIET! And a good tip- at that point I was "off contract". They treated me right not because of my contractor, but because that's what they do. A wonderful, respectful crew who took great pains to protect our floors when they came out to install the newly chosen unit.
